The Spear

After class, Zev raised his eyebrows when he saw Brian just outside their classroom. He smiled, looking at them. Zev put his arm around Jody and then whispered.

"I should be able to ban you from being friends with Brian," Zev whispered to Jody.

"Love..."

"He's always clinging to you; he doesn't acknowledge that I'm your boyfriend. Insulting."

"He's my first closest friend here. Let it go. You know that I only want you."

Zev didn't say anything when they left the classroom. Brian immediately approached them.

"Let's have lunch together," said Brian.

"Can we still say no?" Zev asked.

Brian just glanced at Zev but didn't speak. He ignored what he said. They started walking down the hallway towards the stairs when they met Loel. Zev frowned when he saw his friend.

"Ahm, you're needed at the gym..." Loel said.

Loel's view of Zev is meaningful, so he removes Jody's arm.

"I have to go to the gym, love," said Zev.
