The House of Brian

Jody ran, not knowing where she was heading except that she needed to look for Zev. She made a run and decided where she would go. Liza is dead. She will not allow Zev to be the next. She kept running until she was sure Kross, who had been pursuing her until then, was no longer in pursuit.

With the sun beginning to set, she glanced around many times but couldn't locate the others.

"Kross! Drake! Jack!" Her shout resonated over the forest, but no one came to answer her. She had no choice but continued on her way.

Brian was relaxing outside his house, drinking whiskey while calmly sitting in the rocking chair, when he heard a voice coming from the woods across the street. With a grimace, he placed the glass on the top of the balcony railing and bolted into the forest.
