The Almost Falling Friendship

"We will repurchase groceries for the new year."

"Are we going out together?" Laurie asked.

The friends looked at each other. "Is it okay with you that you have a bodyguard," Zev asked.

"Of course, it's okay with us. We're used to being like rich kids when there's a bodyguard." Audrey giggled.

Jack frowned. "What are you going to buy?"

"Welcome, of course. After the new year, we have to return to the city, and Zev will take us." Cassy said.

The friends asked no more questions.

And since the chef was already busy, she didn't go shopping. Instead, she called the supermarket to tell them what she needed, and Zev would pick it up.

"Chef doesn't trust us..." Drake said with a laugh.

They will be together in Zev's Hilux vehicle. Kross, Loel, Drake, and Jack were in the back, while the girls were in the backseat, and Jody was in the passenger seat.
