Chapter 5: The Argument

2 Hours Later and they were still on the talk.

"Alright then, Let me go to the main point." Lucas stated. "You've been given the fortune of the Alejandro's BB Company."

"Oh Lord! Did he pass away?" Sapphire asked as her eyes almost started draining holes.

"No Miss teacher! Sorry to tell you this, but he is not dead! My grandpa is still agile and strong, got it?!" Jade warned as Lucas pinched Jade by the side again, but he flinched.

"Ummm, no. That's not it. He just included you in his will--" Lucas continued, but Jade interrupted his words again with anger and deceit in his eyes.

"In other words you are getting his entire fortune."

Thinking about it was unbelievable. Especially with the crappy guy that had a blabbed mouth. It's no doubt, but Sapphire already hated him. She tried to think about the proposal, but it wasn't making sense.

"Umm, I think you've got the wrong person." She muttered.

Hearing this brought a happy look on Jade's face. "You mean you're not the girl in his will?"

"Well, I'm Sapphire Blac, but the person on the list might be another Sapphire Blac." She explained.

Lucas checked his file-bag and brought out a document. He went through the will to confirm.

"Well, I don't think so. The person on the will is you, Miss Blac. If the person that's mentioned in this document isn't you, then you're definitely the one we're looking for." He handed the file over to her.

Going through the documents, Sapphire's eyes went widened in amazement. On the paper was her name, address, phone number, email address, parents name, date of birth and in fact, place of birth. Every single detail about Sapphire were clearly stated in it.

"Oh, this is me." She stuttered at her passport, pinned to the top-left of the file.

Watching her admit that she's the one brought a deeper scar to Jade's face. He looked at her and muttered 'liar' in his mind.

"The chairman would like you to inherit some shares if you meet with some conditions. Of course, this won't take effect until Mr. Alejandro passes away." Lucas continued.

"Some shares?!" Jade turned to Lucas. "How can you say some shares?! Do you even know what the price of BB Company stocks are, right now?!" He fired. Lucas tried to calm him down but, he continued.

"This is what I'm saying, she's gotten herself in a nice little fortune. It's not ordinary, Lucas! And please, stop calming me down because I won't calm down! This tiny little bitch can seduce a man properly. It's obvious that she must have seduced the chairman and now, she has tons of money handed to her! Are you happy now, Miss talented teacher?! You must be good at what you do, right?"

"Yeah, right!" She replied to him, accepting all his accusations. "If this is really true, but it looks like I've become a billionaire overnight. So, can you do me a huge favour?"

"Wow! She's even asking me for favours!" Jade hissed and rested his back to the chair to take a clearer view of her. "You're even more shameless than that I'd imagined. You're an annoying little bit--"

Sapphire looked straight into his eyes and stopped him from blabbing.

"Can you shut up your mouth already?!" She warned with so much seriousness in her voice.

Jade just swallowed. No one has ever had the courage to tell him that. Let alone look straight into his eyes and command him with such boldness. Let alone a woman? An ordinary elementary school teacher?! He just stared at her in amazement. Trying to understand it all.

Although, Lucas tried not to laugh, he just looked away and adjusted his tie  while Jade watched her with so much anger burning in his heart. He so felt like tearing her apart that very minute.

'Ugh! So annoying!' He hissed mentally, as he watched her think.

After a couple of seconds, she stood up and faced them.

"What?! ... Are you playing, dumb? After all the explanations we gave!" Jade asked.

Sapphire looked at him with anger boiling in her. She hated this Jade guy so much! Every word out of his garbage mouth was so annoying! She thought as she frowned at him. He frowned back, too.

"As we mentioned before, I'm a legal consultant for BB Company." Lucas explained as he intervened.

"If you're trying to scam me, then do it properly! How did you know my email address? My passwords? My date of birth! Place of birth and even my parent's name?! This doesn't sound normal to me at all, there's no way you're a real attorney! But if you were, you can't just use other people's personal information as you please!" Sapphire cried once more. Making them see reasons with her.

Lucas looked at her confusedly, it seems she doesn't know anything about the will or who his grandfather is but how is that possible?

"Don't worry, I won't shout anymore! Since you now scam people in person, I know who to call!" Sapphire took her phone and dialed a number.

"What are you doing?" Jade asked.

"Calling the cops!" She replied him, but it seems they weren't picking. She dialed the number again, but Jade snatched her phone from her trembling hands.

"What? Are you going to steal my phone too?!" She cried at him.

"Are you going to finish all this off by getting on the news too? Why? Are you scared? Are you scared that I'd post your unprofessional scamming skills on social media?!" She hissed and grabbed her phone back.

"Oh... Please. Don't misunderstand us, Miss Blac." Lucas pleaded and handed her his Identification card. "If you must know, the chairman was the one who provided us with your information."

"But how does he even know me?"

"That's what I'd like to know!" Jade butted in. "I have no interest in how you seduced my grandpa, but I'm very curious to see what kind of trouble you'll cause next!"

"You know what? That isn't the opposite to what I feel. I'm really curious to find out how I seduced this Chairman of yours. But I have a good idea of what will happen next!" She smirked.

"What do you mean by that?!" He frowned.

"I thought this was luck for you but no! You're not even appreciative! I must say, people like you are the worst!!" he spat at her face like a piece of shit.

"I feel the exact same way, Mister! People like you absolutely sicken me! How can you come to my work place and start calling me names because of one stupid will of some random chairman I don't even know about?!" She moved closer to him a bit...

"It seems you have trusting issues. The people surrounding you don't like you very much right?" she raised an eyebrow at him as she asked the question while Jade's angry eyes widened with more fire.

Lucas nodded to the truth in her words.
