"Please, baby, put it in me. Put it in mama~" Khiona purred as she pressed her forehead on his.
Max didn't respond to her; instead, he closed his eyes. This was it. This is the point of no return, and their relationship can never have a semblance of normalcy…
Many thoughts glowed in Max's mind, but then he shook his head, letting go of them. 'Our relationship was never normal!' he thought with a chuckle.
He opened his eyes and looked into hers. Khiona's eyes were dreamy and burning with the love and obsession she had for him.
'This isn't the time to think about that stuff.' He muttered inwardly; he cupped her face with his hands and was about to respond to her.
GROWL
Max's stomach growled in protest; he hadn't eaten anything at all, and his body was under tremendous strain for the better part of the day.
Max's eye twitched with annoyance, 'Dammit! Why is this happening? Fuck!'
He clenched his jaw in irritation, 'I swear, if anyone planned this, I will kill that fucking bastard! First her, now this!?'
GROWL
Max's stomach growled again; it was demanding for nutrition!
TSK
Max clicked his tongue and turned to his mother. Khiona's face fell; she bit her lip while clenching her fists in annoyance. 'Why? Why? Why? Why is everything getting in the way of becoming one with my baby? Why? Just why?'
Her ice-blue eyes wavered as tears formed at the corners of her eyes while her body started trembling.
Max's expression softened when he looked at her expression, 'she must be angry, but she cannot show it like before,' he commented inwardly.
He then pulled her face towards him and kissed her.
It wasn't passionate like before, nor were their tongues rolling against each other. It was a simple kiss.
Max kissed her for a few minutes before he pulled out and looked at her, "We live for eternity, mother." He started as he gently caressed her hair.
"We have all the time in this world," his other hand wrapped around her waist, pressing reassuringly.
He then pecked her lips once again and said, "And I promise you, Mom," his ice-blue eyes shone with love for her as he said, "For the rest of eternity, I am yours."
Khiona was overwhelmed by emotions; tears fell down her cheeks as her son had professed his love for her. She laughed with joy as she leaned closer, initiating a kiss.
She kissed her son for another few minutes before she said, "I love you, Max."
Max smiled as he replied, "I love you too, Khiona."
GROWL
"Seriously!" Max complained out loud with annoyance, his eyebrows creased together while Khiona let out a chuckle.
CHUCKLE
Khiona chuckled as she rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes; she had a small smile lingering on her face.
'Hehehe, he said he loves me! He loves me!' She kept muttering inwardly while Max relaxed and began caressing her.
They stayed in the bathroom for a few minutes before they both got out; Max's stomach kept growling at him.
They both wore clothes that were already prepared and placed in the bath and walked towards the dining room.
All along the way, Khion was hopping like a little teenage girl who just got proposed.
Max chuckled and shook his head before holding her hand, "let's hold hands."
Khiona stiffened for a moment before she nodded with a smile.
They soon reached the dining room and Helena was waiting for them. The moment she saw the duo, she knelt on her knees and bashed her head to the ground, "I am sorry, my Lady! I was not aware!" she yelled at the top of her lungs.
Khiona's smile disappeared in an instant and her warm eyes turned cold, "How dare you bring yourself in front of me!" she growled in anger.
Although she was not angry as before, she was still angry with her head maid.
TREMBLE
Helena trembled at her words; she bit her inner cheeks until they bled. "I am sorry, my lady! Please—"
Before another word could get out of her mouth, the temperature dropped, and
FREEZE
Helena's legs were frozen; she looked up to see Khiona's eyes flickering with power. But before she could do anything.
"Mother," Max stepped in. He hugged his mother from behind, placing his head on her shoulder.
Instantly, as if all her anger were a lie, her face flushed and a smile bloomed on her lips. While Max continued,
"I don't think Helena did anything wrong, Mom. She was there to inform us, and that was her duty. And don't forget, she helped me pick your favourite fragrance and her interference made us come closer, don't you think so?"
He ended with a kiss on her cheek while a smile bloomed on his face as he turned to Helena.
Helena served her mother for the last hundred years, and she stayed loyal from day one and never once complained about Khiona's behavior.
'It would be a pity if we lost a loyal servant just for a moment's anger,' he mumbled inwardly.
Khiona thought about her son's words and thought that he was right. She released Helena's legs, stepped forward, and offered her hand to the maid.
Helena's eyes teared up as she held her mistress's hand. She got up and, with a genuine smile on her face, she said, "I am happy for you, My Lady."
Khiona was a little taken aback by her words, but she composed herself in a moment while Max stepped forward and said, "Helena, I want you to move my things to my mother's room."
Helena's eyes widened in surprise while Khiona's face was flushed red.
The maid then offered them a bright smile as she bowed, "As you say, Young Master."
The duo then walked into the dining room and had dinner while Helena went to pack Max's things to shift to her madam's bedroom.
The duo soon finished their dinner, which was steak and blood, and were now walking towards their room hand in hand.
Helena was waiting for them in Khiona's bedroom. She bowed to them slightly as they approached her, "I have shifted your things, Young master."
Max smiled at this and replied, "Thank you, Helena. Oh, and by the way, I want you to replace the bed sheets everyday."
Both Helena's and Khiona's faces reddened at his words while Max smirked at them, 'It's fun teasing them.'
"Y-Yes, Young Master." Helena hurriedly replied and left them.
Max's smirk widened when he noticed his mother's face all reddened in embarrassment. He then squeezed her hand while his eyes glinted as he said, "The night is still young, mom. We can finish what we started."
