King's decision

The King was taken aback by what Alex had asked for. The King had anticipated that Alex would request a position of royalty, but what Alex asked for was unexpected, and it surprised not only the King but also the priest who was present. The King's voice boomed throughout the room as he addressed Alex, saying, "Alex, from now on..." At that moment, Alex's mind raced with thoughts of his new status as the husband of the queen and first princess.
