Morning came! A clunking sound woke Jurion and the vampires as they heard the guard serving food to the inmates toss plates with colorful mushed food to the ground.
"Here's yours!" said the guard, carelessly tossing the plates like he was feeding animals.
Jurion and his cellmate Adriana saw the mushed food on the floor, it looked like the fruits they saw in the forests.
"No wonder why this place smells moldy!" Megan commented, still feeling disgusted with the surroundings.
"Hey, aren't you going to eat your food? Give them to me!" said the Trunckan in the opposite cell as he noticed that Jurion and the vampires were not touching the food on the floor while he and other prisoners were happily munching like pigs.
Jurion didn't bother himself with entertaining the Trunckan's demand.
"We need to feed soon," Chanel muttered. "I wonder if we can ask them to give us live animals."
