A WEIRD COMBO

The following morning, I opened my eyes and smiled.

When last had I slept this well?I looked up to see Aiden still fast asleep.

I smiled as I realized that it wasn't a dream. He was really here.

I hugged him tightly and closed my eyes to sleep some more until my alarm went off.

"It will turn off by itself" I muttered never wanting to let go off Aiden until something struck me.

I only kept an alarm whenever it was Mr Evans class.

I jolted up from the bed waking Aiden up .

"Hey,we have to go to school. Wake up "

He grumbled"No. I want to sleep some more. Let's skip today too" he said pulling me down to him but I smacked his face.

"Ouch" Aiden whimpered"It hurts"

"I'm going. You can stay back while you are at it if you can help me clean up ,I'll really appreciate it"

I rushed to the bathroom and took a quick shower.

When I got out, I hurriedly threw on the first clothe I saw.

Aiden watched me "What is it?" I asked

"I don't get it though. Why are you always in a haste to Mr Evans class?"

Why? Because my grades were bad in his courses and I nodded to pass physics for me to graduate anyways.

I was 18. This was the last phase of highschool. I had no intention of being held back and meet other people worse than Jessica and her minions.

But I obviously wasn't going to tell Aiden all that. I wanted to look cool to him.

I shrugged"It's a resolution I made to myself after I turned 18, why?"

Aiden laughed"Resolution?"

I nodded my head "Yes. Hey, enough with all the talking. Aren't you going to shower?"

Aiden got up from the bed"I'm going"

"Hey, if you intentionally waste too much time in bathing, I'll come in there and kill you"

Aiden smiled"I won't. Don't worry "

I waited patiently for Aiden to come out of the bathroom, shaking my legs and checking my watch every minute.

Aiden came out from the bathroom all dressed up.

"Let's go " I said walking to him and taking his hand.

The minute I opened the door, I was shocked to see who was standing there.

It was Katherina.

Seriously, how were these people knowing where I lived?!

Katherina looked at Aiden"Are you okay? Has the injury gone down abit?"

Aiden nodded his head"Yes. Thank you for last time. I mean it"

Katherina smiled"Don't mention it "

Okay, I know that I should thank her too because she literally saved Aiden's life and all but how dare she flirt with my mate Infront of me !!

I tightened my grip on Aiden's hand"Let's go"

As we were about to move, a loud voice shouted"Alexis"

I stilled. That voice.

I turned around to see Kenny walking towards me smiling and waving.

I smiled back"What brings you here?"

"I was worried. You didn't come to school yesterday. Are you okay?"

I nodded my head"Yes.I'm okay "

Aiden cleared his throat as he tightened his grip on my hands"Let's go, everyone"

As the four of us headed to school, I couldn't help but wonder how this weird combination of a beta, an alpha and two omega's came to be.

When we got to school, Jessica was angrily shouting and breaking some lockers.

I went straight to my locker"What do you think happened?"

Aiden shrugged"Don't worry about it. Take care of yourself during your class, alright?"

Apparently, Mr Evans class was the only class that Aiden and I don't take together.

"Don't worry about it. I'll take car of her "Kenny said to Aiden.

Aiden looked at him in a funny way and pulled me close to him as he whispered in my ears"Be careful of this guy. I don't trust him"

I smiled and whispered back"It's okay"

I refrained from him and walked away with Kenny to Mr Evans class.

When we got to the class, everywhere was turned upside down .

"Did you guys hear? Jessica's mate is an omega"

"She must be so pissed right now "

"Exactly."

Mr Evans walked into the class and cleared his throat"Alright, everyone that's enough chit-chatting. Settle down "

Jessica must be so furious right now. I thought.

I understand how she feels though. It's exactly how I'd felt when I found out Aiden was my mate.

I raised up my hand"Mr Evans, I have to go to the restroom"

Mr Evans nodded his head"You can go"

Kenny looked at me "Are you okay?"

"Yes"

I went to the restroom where I knew Jessica would be and saw her crying profusely.

"Stop crying. It's not the end of the world yet" I said to her handing her some tissue paper to wipe her tears.

She looked up at me, stood up from the ground and as she took the tissue paper from my hand, she threw it on the floor angrily.

"Don't think we are in the same level" Jessica said and walked away angrily.

I picked the tissue from the ground and threw it into the dustbin.

I washed my hands as I left the restroom headed back to class.

AIDEN

The news spread like wild fire that Jessica's mate was an omega.

"She must be so hurt"

"I haven't seen her since"

"Me too "

I tried to block out their conversations.

It disgusted me when they treated us omega like we were a curse of another unwanted thing.

Even if Alexis rejected me at first, I was happy that she was my mate.

That an omega was my mate. Someone on my own level because if it were to be someone else,I don't think I would have been accepted that easily.

"The moon goddess is sure doing some tricky things this year"

"Exactly"

Unable to listen anymore to the conversations around me, I stood up and walked out of the class.

As I stepped out, I saw Jessica running out from the ladies restroom and running out of school.

She looked like a mess. Like her life was over.

I sighed as I watched her leave. Should I follow her? She might do something dangerous.

I made up my mind to follow her when someone held me back.

I turned around to see that it was Katherina"Where are you going?"she asked.

"I'll be back" I said to her and ran out of school looking around for Jessica.

A loud wailing in the woods helped me find her.

She saw curled up as she sobbed. She looked up at me "What is this? Are you and your girlfriend taking turns on me now ?"

I stilled. Had Alexis tried to comfort her too?

"Get lost. I don't want to be around you filthy people" Jessica cried.

I squatted down to face her "You are right.We omegas are filthy but do you know what ? " I handed her a handkerchief"We also don't care about what people think. I wonder why your friends that you usually roll with aren't comforting you but we filthy omegas."

I placed the handkerchief in her hand and stood up "Come back to school when you are feeling better"

I turned around and walked away to see Katherina standing behind me.

As we walked back to school together, I asked "How long did you stand there for?"

"Since the beginning" Katherina smiled as she looked at me "You are cool."

I scoffed "That's a lie"

She smiled"Really. I was moved. You are a really good person , Aiden"

I stopped in my tracks. This didn't feel right. I knew Katherina has a crush on me so hanging out with her or giving her mixed signals didn't feel right.

I had to set her straight.

"Katherina, i-"

"Mr Mark is outside" she said taking my hand"Run"

And so we ran hand in hand back to school .
