Seven Years Later
My phone rang the moment I sat on my office chair. It was as if the person who called, was gauging my actions.
"Hello?" I answered after I confirmed the caller.
I can't go ahead and be receiving calls from strangers.
"Boss, I've found the man. He visited her three days ago. I've got his address, and other necessary things. I will email them to you.
Do you need anything from me? Should I—"
"That will be all.
I will appreciate it if you send all the details to me."
"Boss—l"
"That will be all," I said before I disconnected the call, and threw the phone to the side.
God.
It has been a long day.
Who would have thought someone like me who loves leisure will one day be tied to a business as boring and draining as this one?
A knock sounded on my door.
"Come in," I opened the laptop in front of me as I got ready for more work.
