The drive home was rather uneventful, though Lorien noticed Quentin put extra effort into trying not to worry about Kairos.

But that was the least of Lorien's problems.

When they arrived at his house, Lorien stepped down from the car and waltzed in.

He glanced at the time, realizing it was almost closing time for Due.

Meaning it was almost time for their little 'meeting' tonight.

A smirk crept up Lorien's lips as he handed his suit to a maid while Quentin doted behind him.

"Alert me as soon as Due arrives," Lorien commanded Quentin simply before he headed up the stairs to his room.

Once he got to his room, Lorien decided a nice shower would help calm his nerves from the day's activities, most especially Due's persistent stubbornness.
