Showdown! (Part - 5)
*3rd POV*
Blade saw a fist making it's way towards him, while he couldn't move at all. Just when he thought he was done for, a hand appeared in front, blocking Dracula's punch. Both Blade and Dracula were shocked, and looked at the one who blocked, but Dracula just received a punch himself, which broke his helmet and a part of his face, sending him crashing back.
Blade saw Power Man ease his stance and offer his hand to help him get-up. Blade stood up, and saw Dracula stand up as well, healing his face and armor.
"Damn, the ones with healing factors are really troublesome." Power Man said.
Dracula rushed back, only to get slammed on the ground by Jewel, who dropped from above. She then picked him up by the leg, and smashed him around a couple of times.
"Power Man" She yelled and threw the disoriented Dracula, who was hit by Power Man's 100 Ton force punch, while his gauntlet was filled with holy energy. The impact created a shockwave, which caused the ground to crack, while Dracula shot away.
Dracula was extremely injured below his head, because of the impact, and his healing speed lessened a lot. His eyes and mouth leaked magma like blood. This punch also made him come to his senses. He managed to get up and looked towards the group with fear as well as anger.
He gritted his teeth, as he ran towards the door to escape. But what he got was an arrow shot towards him, which exploded in his face. On the door stood Abigail and a now healed Hannibal King.
Jewel flew and landed besides the two to prevent escape from there. Angry on being blocked, he roared and slammed his hands filled with energy on the floor, which made it break completely, as they plummeted down. Jewel caught Hannibal and Abigail, while others fell with him, all except IF.
Using Chi, he pushed himself to a nearby piece of floor, and shot towards Dracula at full speed, with both chi covered arms in front. He slammed into Dracula, as they crashed through the rubble. They all landed and stood back up.
IF suddenly came flying out of the opposite end, but managed to balance himself. He wiped the blood near his mouth, which showed a bruise, slowly healing.
Dracula roared as he came out, his entire armor was covered in cracks, but they were glowing like it was filled with lava, same happened with his eyes. "I WILL DESTROY ALL OF YOU!!" He yelled and rushed forward, but webs exploded in his way, stopping him momentarily, but that was more than enough, as a blur shot across, and both of Dracula's arms that were behind him fell down, while Nightclaw stood at the other side with claws drawn.
He tried stopping, but the momentum had already made him reach the others. Daredevil took a shot first, making multiple cuts with his short-swords, which was followed by IF's barrage of punches. Dracula barely caught his breath, as he felt like a tank slammed into him, sending him flying, and then felt like a missile crashed into him from above, courtesy of Power Man and Jewel.
He was then webbed and pulled by two webline's, which pulled him into the spider's. Spidey and Silk hit him with a biofield covered fist, sending him flying back. He crashed a few times, when he was attacked by flash arrows, producing harsh burns. Hannibal and Blade attacked respectively, making the vampire a bloody mess, barely standing, but Dracula suddenly felt a last minute rush, as all the blood on him glowed, and he managed to side-stepped Blade and headbutt him, tripping him, and kicked Hannibal away.
"YOU ALL ARE COMING WITH MEEE!!" He yelled as the glowing blood ignited into black flames like a wave moving towards them. But just as that started, a red glow surrounded him, blocking the flames from spreading, while an white fireball entered the red dome, erasing all the black fire, leaving only an extremely weak and handless Dracula, covered in bruises, cuts and burns. This was the handiwork of Scarlet Witch and Phoenix, who had just arrived.
Abigail loaded the arrow made for Dracula, and fired it. Dracula sensed the extreme danger, and barely managed to lean to the side, as the arrow passed by. He couldn't move anymore, and was hoping Morax will save him, when he felt something stab him form behind.
He slowly turned, to see Blade stabbing him with the arrow Abigail had shot. "Take that, you backstabbing bi*ch" Blade spat and pushed Dracula, who fell on his knees after a few steps. His body started to release ashes as he looked in fear at his condition, and then his opponents, who gathered in front of him.
"Sleep permanently, you bastard." Hannibal spat with a grin, as Dracula looked at them a final time and collapsed into ashes.
"FINALLY!!" Spiderman shouted in joy, as everyone relaxed seeing Dracula dying.
"Indeed, good job everyone." Came a voice behind Spiderman, scaring him. He jumped into Silk's arms, and looked back to see Enigma standing there.
"YOUUU-" Spiderman shouted while pointing at Enigma, and stayed silent for a while, then asked "Where did you go?"
"You could say,.." Enigma said, while Daredevil softly said "Don't", "... I was gonna say fighting an hidden boss. Why are you saying don't" He said looking at Daredevil, who stared with a deadpan expression knowing well that he would have made the bad pun if he didn't interfere.
"Really? How strong was he? We're beat killing these ones." Spiderman asked tired.
"Eh,... it was a good punching bag, I guess" Enigma said with a shrug, while they stared at him with a deadpan glare. "What? It's true!" Enigma said, feeling their gazes.
*A few minutes earlier*
Enigma healed and evacuated all the people vampires used as blood bags. He decided to help the spiders with the cocoons since the place was getting closer and closer to crumbling down, when he suddenly sensed something. Right in the middle of the ceiling of the hall above, he sensed a beast hidden, merged with the roof. Even he looked it over until he sensed it release energy to mutate whatever is in the cocoons.
Sensing him about to release more energy to mutate the cocoons, Enigma pulled himself and the beast into the mirror dimension.
"Let's see what you are" Enigma said and blasted the ceiling with holy energy enhanced lightning, which broke the roof and the beast fell down. Enigma looked at, what he would describe as an abomination, more than the one hulk faced. As far as he could tell, the hellspawn combined a bunch of earthly animals and hell-beasts together to make a chimera, one who has the ability to mutate others using it's energy.
It looked like a lizard with bat wings, horns like rhinoceros and bull, jaws like a goblin shark, spider like eyes and tentacles below it's chin, everything looked to be made of black goo except the glowing red eyes. And it had bones jutted out providing an exoskeleton to stabilize it.
The beast roared, which sounded like a shriek mixed with gibberish screeches.
"That sound... really weird." Enigma said, cringing from hearing it and with annoyance he was feeling ever since he entered the castle.
[You are just suppressing your frustration. I can sense it you know.] Oracle said to him.
"Oh, and pray tell what should I do?" He asked sarcastically, even though he didn't want to, showing his frustration again, which is getting suppressed by Gamer's mind.
[Everyone makes mistakes. Just punch with all your emotions and let go. Or yell it out, whichever works] He heard Oracle, who didn't mind Enigma's rude comment, just as he dodged the tentacles. Enigma looked at the beast, in which he sensed multiple human souls trapped, the main reason he was frustrated, more than at what the Vampires did.
"You know what! Yeah! Fu*k this shit!" Enigma finally snapped and appeared besides the rushing chimera. He clenched his left hand and punched with full force. The punch punctured the armor and the black goo that was in his way got splatting back, like a bullet of the size of a human fist.
"Tch, you need some form of forcefield or a medium to transfer the force equally to transfer the force of the punch. The comics should really explain that when they show hulk shatter the whole building with a punch rather than destroying just that part and what's in front because of the force." He said and dodged the tentacles.
[Well, his fists are covered in gamma radiation acting as a medium to transfer the force of his punch like a shockwave to whatever he hits. You would know if you practiced catching planes in the simulation] Oracle gave her opinion.
"hmm" Enigma hummed in agreement, as he coated his fist in a small amount of aura, enough to act as a medium and punched with his full force, right over the chimera's head. The chimera didn't stand a chance as it got blown to smithereens. It's bones, goo, everything was gone, including the entire part of the mansion in the mirror dimension.
"*Sigh* Couldn't even test my other powers, just my normal strength." He said and sighed.
[Even your normal power is enough to face Carol. You need to face Sentry or Hyperion to test them all.] He sighed hearing her an did a sweep with a combination of air and holy energy to erase all it's traces.
"Whatever, set a timer to research my mood swings, this shouldn't happen. I can't always rely on gamer's mind." He told Queen.
After that he went back to the base and saw Spiderman and the others fighting the beasts. Seeing them handle it, he decided to help out taking care of those who by chance got bitten or injured in the battle above.
"How do you think we should handle it?" Enigma asked Oracle seeing the others trash Dracula, while planting mental seeds and magical tracers on the people saved to heal their mental trauma faster after they wake up. Finding so many victims of human trafficking is going to involve shield, whether he likes it or not.
[We should leave some stuff behind. Shield and Hydra will realize sooner or later it involves the vampires anyway. Plus, you can't always keep the Defender's capabilities under cover. People have already started to pay attention considering the recent telepathic attacks they sensed.] Oracle explained to him
"Hmm, I'll leave the details to you, looks like they're done." Enigma ordered as he teleported to the dead Dracula.
"FINALLY" Enigma arrived as Spiderman yelled.
"Yeah, good job everyone" Enigma said from behind, making him jump.
"YOUUUU-.., Wait, where did you go?" Spiderman yelled while pointing at Enigma, then asked confusedly.
"Just taking care of a hidden boss." Enigma shrugged, while others looked at him weirdly.
"What! I'm serious. I'll show it later. For now, we all deserve a good rest." Enigma dismissed the previous conversation and said. "What are your plans now?" He asked Blade and Hannibal.
"Well, we're probably gonna settle down. My and other's revenge with Dracula is done, so we can finally have peace." Hannibal said, looking at Abigail, who smiled and nodded.
"I'm gonna hunt for more strays. They have become more agitated in Europe after hearing about Dracula waking." Blade explained.
Enigma handed him a phone and said." That's a spy-phone. Contains an AI for search and assist in case you need to search for someone or someplace, and my contact. I have a lot of people in Europe so if you need something, don't hesitate to call." Blade nodded in appreciation and took it.
"Well, let's take a selfie! to commemorate the defeat of Dracula" Spiderman said, as the spider on his chest detached into a drone and flew in front of them, and took a pic.
Enigma arranged the transport back to Hannibal's base, where they celebrated their victory. At 4 in the morning, they decided to go home, as Enigma just opened portal at some distance and everyone went home.
*3rd POV end*
I got out of the suit and went to the bed and laid down, when a flame ignited at a corner. I jumped up, but recognized it as the phoenix flames. But what I saw left me speechless. There stood Jean, Wanda and Laura. Jean was in white netted lingerie, displaying her smooth white skin and curves. Wanda was in a similar red one, matching her hair and giving her an extremely charming look. And Laura wore a black pair, emphasizing her perfect body making her look extremely hot.
"You did a good job today. Time for your reward~" Jean said licking her lips, and pushed me on the bed.
