Chapter 1

"Abi,could you please meet me near the phone booth by my brother's school. I need to talk to you, it's something important. " Abigail's best friend Alexa texted over the phone.

Abi saw the text and replied.

"Okay Alex,what time?"

" At 12 AM OK."

She asked," Is everything good?"

" Yep,I just really need something. " Alex answered.

She didn't reply back as she had a low balance on her phone.

Abigail is twenty two years old and she has a younger sister of fifteen years old. She loves her more than anything. For her, no matter how big Alice gets,she'll always be her little sister. Though her family wasn't rich, they were still living a comfortable life in Mexico. Her father was a banker and her mother was a full time house wife. As an introvert, she only has one friend - Alexa.

She has been her friend since college.

Alexa was totally different from her, she belonged to the higher class. Her father was a business tycoon and her mother, a movie director. Well the story of how they met is for another day.

Abi's parents were worried about her, they thought she wouldn't be able to live her life and was stressing her self too much about the family responsibilities,which was partly true. Her family was average so she always had to pay the rent on time.She feels that her parents are old and will soon retire so,she takes care of everything by doing partime jobs.

She hated violence just like any other citizen. She could not even stand the sight of people fighting or blood shed even in movies. But unluckily for her, she lived in a country where they were many mafia's. She prayed never to encounter one and that they should all be caught because she had heard about them killing innocent people.But as far as her life was concerned, it was simple and hard. She had to work hard to meet her family's requirements. Her major concern was about her little sister's education. She believed education was very important.

After thirty minutes, Abi finally reached the place in where Alex was waiting for her.It was near a traffic signal and the place was highly crowded so she had to wait.

While waiting, she saw a stray cat that walked up to her meowing. She had always loved cats from little but she couldn't own them as they weren't going to get enough time from her. She carefully rubbed her back. Seeing this, three more cats came up to her snuggling against her leg.

"So cute." She whispered.

She then opened a can of milk which she had kept for herself and fed the cats.

Suddenly she heard the prolonged horn of a car and looked up. She saw cars horning behind a sleek black SUV latest edition who didn't want to move even when the traffic was green.

Soon the car moved because of the prolonged horning of the other cars at the back. A minute later, she saw Alexa by the road. Alexa waved at her and then,Abi crossed to meet Alexa who was standing near her new ferrari.

" Cared to tell me why I am here? " Abi asked.

"Abi, I really need your help,could you follow me to a party. Dad won't allow me go alone and I have to be there." Alexa pleaded.

" Argggh,how did I end up with you? " Abi groaned.

" Please. " Alexa said with a puppy face knowing that Abi won't turn her down.

"Okay, but no drinks." Abi said. Alexa jumped but Abi knew that there was still going to be drinks, no one could resist her.

"Ok,we are going by 9PM sharp." Thank you Abi. Alexa gushed over her.

There was no how Abi could resist Alexa's charm, Alexa had helped her very much. Though they met in high school, they were totally different. Abi was a nerd with a degree in fashion disaster,she was always bullied, that changed when she met Alexa. Alexa was a pacesetter, boys fell for even the ground she walked on.

Since they met, they have been unbreakable, they even entered the same university. While Abi was in Medicine, Alexa entered business management. Abi was going to make sure that she would take care of Alexa.
