6 MIDDLE SCHOOL

Because she just turned thirteen she was enrolled as freshman of the middle school. Mother and daughter had a fun time buying jeans, other clothes and school supplies to be used. It was also the first time she came down from the mountains but being smart and observant, she easily adapt to the human life as per her mother's teachings. They took a whole day to tour the whole town. They leisurely walk around town, buying whatever they like. It's a good thing that Miranda, being a healer, have saved a lot. She has human friends but no one knows her real age. She also has curly red hair just like Seline, with fair complexion while Seline being always at the forest, running and practicing her abilities, she has a golden brown complexion.

Monday. First day of school for Seline. They both woke up early, while Seline is taking a bath, Miranda cooks breakfast, a simple porridge, bacons and eggs. She also prepared a chicken sandwich for Seline's lunch, apple for snack and a bottle of water.

Seline wears her new jeans with long sleeve pink shirt and her canvass shoes. Her hair is in ponytail, no make up just a sprinkle of homemade perfume by her mother. Satisfied with her look, she comes down for breakfast. "Your bag is on the sofa. After class, just come home. You know you are different from them so limit yourself being around those humans. You can be friendly but please no pranks like you used to do with Liam and me," Miranda reminded her.

While having their mother and daughter moment, Liam arrived and handed her a key, "my gift." And he just smile showing his two dimples while looking at Miranda. Seline ran outside the house and she found a motorcycle parked under a tree. Aside from fighting, Liam also taught her to drive a car, his pick up truck and his motorcycle. So she knows how to handle a motorcycle. She ran to the bike and looked back at Liam. "Thank you, Uncle Liam."

She ran back to the house to get her bag, food and water inside courtesy of Miranda then ran back outside, started the bike and off to school. Miranda gifted her a cellphone so she can contact her every time.

"She's an enigma!" Liam said then looked at Miranda with longing. Liam's mate died due to accident and it has already been five years since then. He felt closer to Miranda as days go by.

Liam knew that eventually, he will propose to Miranda but he just didn't have the confidence to tell her about his feelings and because they do not belong to the same clan. But at the moment, he promised to himself that he will do everything to gain her love and affection.

"Hey, Miranda! She's already gone. Don't worry about her, she can protect herself in the school. No one can bully my baby." Liam told her while going inside the house. "I bought some breakfast, let's dig in."

"Whose your baby?" Miranda scoffed and went inside the house which was renovated and repainted by Liam to accommodate the growing girl and wolf, Rory, that Seline found in the forest when it was just a pup. She changed the name cause her wolf disagreed that they have the same name.
