A miracle case for a miracle lawyer.

As the sun set over the bustling city, casting an orange glow across the towering skyscrapers, Leo hailed a yellow taxi on the corner of Oak Street. He had just received an urgent call from his wealthy client, Mr. Miller, who resided in the opulent neighborhood of Grandville. With a sense of purpose, Leo climbed into the backseat of the cab, his mind already racing with thoughts about the impending legal matter.

The cab driver, a middle-aged man named Mike, greeted Leo with a friendly smile as he pulled away from the curb. He leaned back in his seat, appreciating the brief respite from his busy day at the law firm. He glanced out the window, watching as the cityscape gradually transformed into an upscale residential area. The elegant houses and meticulously manicured gardens signified the wealth and privilege that pervaded Grandville.

Curiosity got the better of him, and he struck up a conversation with Mike, inquiring about the neighborhood and its notable residents. The driver eagerly shared tidbits of information, relishing the chance to engage in conversation with someone new. He mentioned that Grandville was home to several prominent individuals, including business tycoons, celebrities, and influential politicians.

As they continued their journey, Leo couldn't help but imagine the grandeur that awaited him at Mr. Miller's residence. Known as a wealthy entrepreneur, Mr. Miller had built an empire spanning multiple industries. However, his success had recently attracted legal troubles that necessitated Leo's expertise. The lawyer was determined to ensure a favorable outcome for his client and protect his reputation.

As the cab turned onto a winding road, the opulent mansion of Mr. Miller came into view. It stood as a testament to his vast wealth, exuding elegance and sophistication. Leo's heart raced with anticipation as Mike pulled up to the imposing iron gates that guarded the property. A security guard approached the cab, scrutinizing his credentials before granting access.

He stepped out of the cab, taking a moment to marvel at the sheer magnificence of his surroundings. The mansion's pristine gardens, adorned with fountains and exotic flowers, stretched out before him. A grand entrance led to massive oak doors, which swung open to reveal a spacious foyer adorned with intricate marble sculptures and sparkling chandeliers.

Mr. Miller awaited Leo in his lavish study, surrounded by walls lined with leather-bound books and priceless artworks. The client exuded an air of authority, yet there was a flicker of concern in his eyes. Leo approached with confidence, ready to delve into the legal intricacies of the case and provide reassurance.

"You finally made time to come over," Mr. Miller said with gratitude in his eyes. "I'm guessing you have a solution in mind?" he asked with a raised eyebrow which made Leo smile confidently.

"Tell me about your relationship with Mrs Miller." Leo ignored his words and pulled out a fist-sized diary while speaking.

If there is one thing he is certain of, it's the pride of wealthy men can be stepped on quite easily. He couldn't provide the sex tapes of Lisa unless he is sure of this man's feelings toward her.

Deep down he wished Lisa had cursed enough damage to make his man despise her and simply wish to get rid of her regardless of the means. Only then will he bring up such an option.

"Ooh, that? Marrying her without a prenuptial agreement was a moment of weakness which has led me to this mess. If you are asking about my current relationship with her, you can define it as transactional. I literally have to pay my wife to fuck her. This is her trying to make away with the bag, my bag." Mr. Miller said with a helpless look on his face.

Listening to this man while allowing his empathy ability to get a good grasp of this man's true feelings behind his words, it seems Mr. Miller is more concerned about his wealth than his failed marriage. His words were that of a man accepting his mistakes but regretting the price he has to pay for such a costly mistake.

Leo gazed at this man in silence for a few seconds as he pondered on what step to take next. He glanced over his shoulder as if he was making sure no one was listening.

Confirming no one was behind him, Leo leaned in with a stern look on his face.

"How far are you willing to go to win?" Leo asked with a raised eyebrow.

A week passed, and it was time for the case. During this past week, the Underworlds' growth has been reduced drastically because they have attracted too much attention. The police were currently putting in a lot of effort on cracking down on this new gang with the unusual drug.

The presence of his other identity made life quite stressful for him. Consuming a reasonable amount of time.

Right now he barely had time to do things he used to do.

Leo drove up to a familiar site. It is a Romanesque building, three stories high, with large pillars in the front. Ivy grows up on one side of the building. The green grass in the courtyard is immaculately kept. The United States flag flies high above the building. Etched in stone on the front wall of the courthouse are the words

" Truth, Justice, and Liberty."

He stepped out of the car and let out a heavy sigh. As soon as he arrived, he was greeted with the sight of a grand Limousin pulling up by the driveway. From there Mr Miller appeared in a Grey suit and a black cane. Even though his man was quite old, he looked good for someone his age.

But someone like Lisa who is practically a doll is sorted out by many young and good-looking men. It was obvious her short marriage with this man was for this wealth and nothing more.

Even though he had an exciting night with her, Leo is a man of culture. He would never let another man lose everything he has toyed his life for over something like this.

"Unfortunately for you Lisa, I have a duty to my client. If not I wouldn't have to hurt you this much." Leo mumbled before walking up to Mr. Miller and his guards.

The two exchanged pleasantries and after seeing the confident look in Leo's eyes, Mr Miller felt reassured. The only day he met Leo, he was given the assurance of a smooth victory which got him excited but also curious.

What could he have on his ex-wife that gave him so much confidence?
