Chapter 50

Roma sighed and dropped her hair back while Mirida came close to where they were as Akaya stood up to face them.

"Here, have some water". Mirida offered Akaya a glass of water which she hadn't seen the witch holding in her hands before. She had been too busy sending daggers at Roma that she hadn't noticed.

Akaya looked down at the glass of water then at Mirida who gave out a wide smile but she ignored it, turning to face Roma who was now looking away from her. She inwardly appreciated Mirida's concern for her but at the moment, her biggest concern was that of her son, Lucky.

"Where is my son? What happened to him?". Akaya questioned again.

"I- I don't. I mean, we don't know what happened to him". Roma declared in a stuttered tone.

"What do you mean that you don't know what has happened to my son?". Akaya questioned slowly almost in a whisper but the venom laced on those words was evident.
