"Okay I'll do it," Affirmed Daniel as he took a hold of the cup that Minerva had held out to him. He took it from her and also the knife that she had handed it to him. 

With two deep breaths, Daniel slit his palm for blood to trek down onto the cup that he had placed on the table beside him. His hand shook a little but that was nothing. He kept reassuring himself internally that all of these was worth it and he had nothing to regret about. 

The slit slowly healed up, closing up perfectly fine as if it hadn't been there before. "I don't know why I'm doing this but you're a witch, you can't see the future?!" 

Her eyes danced with pleasure as she looked at the blood trekking down onto the cup. The joy that danced within her at the sight of the red liquid knew no bound. Truth be known, she was constricting herself from jumping up and down because this was what she wanted.
