chapter 5 : The Betrayal

Kristof, Alexander's brother, appeared at the castle, his eyes gleaming with malice. He revealed a dark secret about Alexander's past, one that made me question everything I thought I knew about my lover. Alexander had lied to me, and I felt I had been living a lie, and I didn't know what to believe anymore. Alexander had told me that he loved me, that I was the only one for him. But now, I wasn't so sure. Kristof's revelation made me question everything.

I confronted Alexander, my heart racing with anger and hurt. He tried to explain, but I wouldn't listen. I felt like I had been betrayed, like he had lied to me from the very beginning. We argued, our voices raised in a fierce battle of wills. I stormed out of the castle, needing time to think.
