I never wanted a marriage like this. My dream marriage is with a husband I love and he loves me too. But, now I have to marry on the basis of money. It's a huge amount of money that I can't earn even if I have to work hard for the rest of my life. What hurts even more, my future husband is still in love with his first love. Should I endure this broken heart and loveless marriage?
"Oh, you're Lewis? My brother's boss? Who asked me to go to Italy together?" Likha's following questions made Lewis smile faintly.
Lewis, who had just arrived in Bali, went straight to the hospital where his manager's younger sister worked. He didn't want to waste even a day.
"May I have a moment to speak one-on-one, please?" Lewis asked, his arms folded across his chest.
"Hmm, okay, but not now. I'm still working." Lika answered slowly.
"When do you finish your work?" Lewis looked at the woman in front of him, who seemed afraid of him. She stood a bit away, keeping her distance.
"In two hours." Likha replied after looking at the watch in her left hand.
"Okay, I'll be back in two hours. You wait for me in the lobby. Make sure I can find you there in two hours." Lewis answered as he walked away.
"Okay," Likha answered briefly.
