Amelia’s flashback

Amelia looked at the couple making out and felt depressed. She hopped into her car and drove away. But before she could even take a turn, she saw their car rushing towards the oncoming truck. She slammed on the brake and looked behind using the rearview mirror.

The traffic on both sides stopped and everyone rushed towards the car that had been in the accident. Amelia parked the car on the side of the road and turned back.

"Jayden…" She ran towards him and hugged him.

"Thank Goodness! You are safe! You are safe!!" She held him tight and cried.

Jennifer watched them from one side but did not try to separate them or interfere. By the time she realized what she had done, it was too late. she felt guilty as all she could give Jayden was only trouble and put his life in danger. In these past two years, she would not say she had no such episodes. But this is the first time she had overreacted so much.
