CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
We continue talking until 12:50 am. We remain the only two people in the bar then the waiter turns on the news and people are already in town's square because people are waiting for the count down.
"Laranie, let's go see the count down"
"Okay let's go"
We sat up and he leaves some money on the table where we were sited, we go to the town's square because it was next to the bar. We walk through the crowd and reach in the middle of the crowd getting a clear views of the ball drop.It is now 12:55 and five minutes for the new year, people start counting down so does me and Logon.
"10....9...8...7" We all shout
"Laranie, I want to tell you something"
"What is it Logon?"I ask him at that moment I felt time was moving slow as the count down continues on
"6....5.....4" People are still counting down in the background
"Laranie, I love you and I have always loved you ever since I saw you"
"Logon, why?" I ask surprised
"When I found out you were dating Jeremy, I got jealous but I knew one day you will be mine"
"Logon,I....I don't know what to say"
"Laranie, I wouldn't treat you like Jeremy please say yes"
"Yes"
"Yes?"
"Yes" I say
"3.....2....1...,HAPPY NEW YEAR" Everyone shout and Logon and I kiss as fire work shoot up in the sky and burst, That's how my new year's went. Meanwhile in France Jeremy has gotten a new girlfriend called Elizabeth Gold, she is a fairly tall, brown skinned girl with curly black hair and deep blue eyes, he looks so lost in her love but the drama is about to get good. Anyway I am having the time of my life with Logon but I would not have sex with him because I never felt like it yet he would try so many times but I would run away. The year of 2033 has passed like that peaceful and wonderful but I don't know what 2034 lies for me? so another new year passes and I am still with Logon but I didn't know that Jeremy is coming back to London but this time with his girlfriend form France.
Three years down the road without Jeremy everyday I cross out dates in my calendar waiting for Jeremy to come back and make things right but I don't know when will that be, it's now the 29th of January of 2034 and my first day in my new job as a cafe waiter serving coffee to people using roller stakes called 'EVERMOOR LONDON CAFE' and I earn five hundred thousand dollars a year, I work during the day and rest at night so I be with Logon at night just watching movies and playing games but no sex.
On 1st of March 2034, Jeremy arrives back to London but with Elizabeth it's 7:00 pm and I am going back home,when I reach home I park the car in the drive through I suddenly see an airport taxi park across the street at Jeremy's home,in my head am thinking that Jeremy is back but Nah....it can't be so I await who gets out. A male figure gets out and it's well known to me, I immediately get a chill up my spin to find out that Jeremy is back in England, my heart skips a beat and start beating fast as I try to keep my control and approach him.
I then see another figure coming out of the taxi and this time it was female structure but i get the shock of my life the female figure is kissing Jeremy and in that moment I get to know that she is Jeremy's new girlfriend. I can't take it any more so I run inside the house and run straight to my room forgetting that Louis was watching a movie and locking myself in the room, falling on to my bed and I start picturing what I had just seen the feeling of seeing Jeremy kissing another girl and the pain that he has moved on but not me I then hear a knock on my door, I wipe away my tears and head to the door when I open the door Logon is standing there looking worried.
"Laranie, Are you okay?"he asks
"Yeah I am fine"
"I saw you running to the bedroom just like you saw something that has disappointed you"
"No,It's nothing, don't worry about it"
"Okay, I really missed you Laranie"
"i missed you too" he comes close to me and kisses me deeply at this point I need someone to be by my side for just tonight.
"Okay, freshen up and come down for supper"
"Okay" But as he is about to leave, I hold him by the hand and pull him back giving him a wet French kiss after the kiss he looks at me so puzzled like he never expected it.
"Logon, I am ready now" I say
"Are you real right now?"
"Just shut up and fuck me" I pull him and I start kissing me hungrily we waste no time and we have already undressed ourselves, makes me sleep on my bed and starts riding me although I didn't enjoy the feeling, I just did it for the seek I wanted to stop my pain of what I have just seen.
