CHAPTER 2

Nath lay flat on her bed, just staring at the ceiling she needed a new job fast her father wasn't in good health, and he needed financial support. she had applied for a lot of jobs, yet still no response.

A week passed by, and she had not gotten any job. Clara had been calling her, but she just eventually blocked her. One day, she went out to get foodstuffs, and when she came back, there was a notification on her computer that she quickly put down her bags and opened the email it was from

Bensons Enterprises.

Suddenly, a huge scream of excitement was heard across the room. She got a job in the company as the PA (personal assistant) to the CEO with free accommodation and a huge settlement at the end of the month. The offer was amazing she accepted it at some point, and she had to give credit to Clara for getting her fired.

She was required to start in 2 days. So she decided to change her fashion style. She was about to call Clara until She remembered she was a betrayal. She scrolled through her contacts on who to call to accompany her to the mall to get new clothes. But she couldn't find anyone useful

She had not dated in forever, and she hardly kept friends. So she decided to go on her own. At the boutique, different types of clothes were showcased, but the price was quite scary. It's not like she couldn't buy it. Or afforded it, she had to save

After selecting a few clothes she went to the restroom, she washed her face and suddenly she heard a voice. "Hello, is anyone there?" she replied "Yes", "I have got an emergency." Nath knew immediately what was going on, and she said, " OK, I will be right back." A few minutes later, she came back with a sanitary pad, and the girl was so happy that she had saved her.

When she came out the girl said "My name's Ravey Mcllarvy, I'm the manager of this boutique sorry to bother you". Nathalie was quite shocked that she looked a bit older than her or the same age." As Nath came out of the dressing room

She couldn't recognise herself anymore. The gown was fitted, showing her curves and her smooth skin. She looked so much mature. Ravey clapped and said, "Don't worry, I have more for you."

They selected a few more different types of clothes. Nath went to the checkpoint to pay, and the cashier said, "It's

5000 dollars ma" Nath was already going to return the clothes when Ravey brought out her credit card to pay, "you don't have to pay that much," " No really it's the least I could do for you."

When Nath got to her old apartment she started packing for her new apartment.

When she was done, she called the driver to take her to the new house, she realised the new house wasn't too far from the company. After she settled in, she just decided to take a walk around her new environment. A few minutes later it felt as though someone was watching her afterwards she started feeling uncomfortable and decided to go back but in the blink of an eye everywhere was dark the last time she looked at the time it was 3:00 in the noon but now it was 7:00 in the evening how did she spend 4hrs outside it's not possible she thought to herself. Next, she heard footsteps so she quickened her steps so as the person.

She didn't notice when she started running, but it seemed that the person was catching up with her, she was getting scared, until she tripped on a branch on the ground and was about to fall into a nearby pit but someone caught her and held her wrist. She only saw his hair and neck, he had dark shiny hair and his neck was so fair and smooth, and his skin looked so soft and his eyes were so warm and beautiful, wait a minute he had the eyes of the guy at the restaurant, when she looked around again, he was gone just like that into thin air this gave her chills.

It took time for her to find her way back to the house, due to the darkness. when she got home she couldn't sleep, she could still feel the warmth of his fingers on her wrist she touched her wrist and looked up at the ceiling.

This is so strange, is he following, I don't get it, so many thoughts ran through her mind, maybe it was just her imagination

but she decided to push all her thoughts away. Tomorrow is her first day of work and she needs enough sleep to be ready for her new job.
