Scene 19.0: Location: Unknown, Time: Unknown, Day 16 Of 365

In what appears to be a different plane of existence that is pure white as far as the eye can see in a completely empty space; the only things that stands out is a Unicorn Pony that looks like Shadow except that his mane is well-kept and not as spiky as Shadow's, he seems older, wearing the same type of cloth as Stygian but is more high class and refined, and he is sitting drinking tea and eating Cheese Flan and Shadow wonders if this is somehow Alchemus.

(Smiling)

It Is An Honor To Finally Meet You, Platinum Shadow. Or Should I Say…It Is Good To See You Again…My Dear Oldest Friend…

Shadow:

Are you…Alchemus?

Alchemus(?):

Yes and No. To answer the question without going on rambling on how it is possible since the Real Alchemus is gone. I Am His Shadow. A Fail-Safe he left behind if the Alicorn Amulet one day would become Sentient. If you are here then that means that our fears came true.

Scene 19.1: Underworld, Mausoleum Of Hate, 9:15 AM

Shadow is once again looking at Darkness Dawn right before being summoned by Alchemus' Shadow and now know what he needs to do and Lord Thanatos as well as the Pursuer notices that Shadow has a much more mature air around him: Wise and Determined to save Luster from the Alicorn Amulet with a confident smile on his face.

Darkness Dawn:

(Annoyed Scoff)

Tut! What's with that look? You actually think you can win?

Shadow:

The More Things Change, The More They Stay The Same…My Little Black And Red "Munus".

Darkness Dawn:

(Shocked, Furious)

Shadow flies at Darkness Dawn at high speeds and starts attacking her with a combination of light punches, kicks and Magic Blasts that actually hurts Darkness Dawn without severely injuring her and while she's caught off guard for a moment, she notices Shadow's Hooves glowing and manages to fly away from Shadow with terror in her face and sweating cold sweats as she realizes her assumptions of Shadow are now confirmed.

Darkness Dawn:

(Shocked)

You…This Can't Be!! How Is This Possible!?

Lord Thanatos:

(Evil Chuckle)

Darkness Dawn:

(Furious)

Darkness Dawn:

I refuse!!! You are lying!!! You don't want to help me!!! You just want me gone like you always have!!! You saw me as a mistake that needed to be destroyed!!! I will never believe you!!! I Will Destroy You Before You Destroy Me!!!

Darkness Dawn attacks Shadow in a fit of rage as Shadow this time doesn't hit back, but instead dodges her attacks and starts telling her all the things she should look forward to if she accepts his offer, but her distrust towards Shadow who is the Reincarnation of Alchemus, doesn't allow her to accept him as Shadow calls out to Luster for here help in making Darkness to see reason which infuriates the Dark Alicorn to the point that she powers up all of her magic and tries to destroy Shadow. As Shadow tries to Deescalate the situation, Darkness manages to overpower Shadow, rendering him out-cold. Seeing this as a victory, Darkness lands nears the unconscious Shadow with a victorious smile on her face as she walks closer and closer to him as she talks to Luster with her left eye having the Evil Glow while her right eye is tearing up in sadness.

(Darkness) Dawn:

You have no idea how long I have been waiting for this moment. The moment I would have my revenge on my creator for wanting my destruction. Do you know what's it like, Luster Dawn? Your creators…Your Parents bringing you to the world, then they want you dead because you didn't turn out how they wanted you to be?

(Luster) Dawn:

(Saddened)

I can't imagine what you are going through, but I do know this. 2 Wrongs Don't Make A Right. I admit that your parents not wanting you is a horrible thing, but that doesn't give them or you the right to end each other's lives.

(Darkness) Dawn:

I might have been created artificially, but even I have a right to live! Ever since Trixie granted me sentience, I had access to her memories and emotions. (Luster) Dawn:

(Darkness) Dawn:

So you can sucker me in giving you back this body and lock me away to never see the light of day!? Or Worse, Destroy Me!? NO, Luster!!! I will destroy you all before you all get the chance to destroy me!!! And Alchemus, Shadow…whatever he calls himself now…will be the first to become a permanent resident of the Mausoleum of Hate.

As Darkness powers up her horn in order to deal the coup de grâce on Shadow, Darkness starts losing her hold on Luster as her right hoof struggles to reach the Alicorn Amulet to forcibly remove it. Darkness tries to stop her from removing it. While being distracted with Luster trying her best to stop Darkness from within, Shadow was actually faking being unconscious, hoping for Luster to convince Darkness to accept their offer, but she is consumed with hatred towards Alchemus and every creature in her life like Trixie and Luster for having normal lives. Shadow quickly removes the Alicorn Amulet as soon as Darkness drops her guard, as Shadow tries to remove it, as soon as he grabs it a powerful electric shock hits Shadow extremely hard that deals a lot of damage to him and fortunately he manages to remove the Alicorn Amulet, returning Luster back to normal as she fall on the ground unconsciousness; but then Shadow falls on the ground suffering all of the damage he received. Lord Thanatos quickly creates a barrier around Luster in order to protect her from the negative influence of the Underworld as Rose rushes to Shadow's side to see if he's alright which Lord Thanatos notices that this is extremely out of character for Rose. Luster regains consciousness and is distraught in seeing Shadow badly injured and on the ground as she rushes to see if he's alright. Both Luster and Rose call out to him as he slowly regains consciousness.

Shadow:

(Weakly, Injured)

Did we…do it?

Luster, Rose:

(Crying, Hugs Shadow)

SHADOW!!!

Shadow:

(Weakly Smile)

Luster:

How? How did you—?

Shadow:

You heard Darkness. I…am the reincarnation of Alchemus. Alchemus left one of his fragments inside the Alicorn Amulet if this were to happen and his main soul was nearby. In a way he told me that to remove the Alicorn Amulet, I needed to infuse my life-force on my hooves and just pull, but in doing so I would shorten my life. Luckily since I am in my True Alicorn Form, I only sacrificed just a fragment of it which won't cause anything bad happening to me.

Lord Thanatos:

I kept my promise to you, Alchemus. I had to pull a few strings, but it seems that your ancestors were also championing for your return.

Shadow:

I don't have all of Alchemus' Memory, Lord Thanatos. I only know a few details of my past life. Everything else is pretty fuzzy.

Lord Thanatos:

I see. Since you already interacted with a fragment of your past life, it will be a matter of time before you reconnect with who you used to be.

Luster:

Will Shadow cease to exist if that happens?

Lord Thanatos:

That depends on how strong their wills are. If Alchemus' Will is stronger, then Platinum Shadow will cease to exist, but if the inverse occurs, that will not be the case. Of course there is a third outcome.

Luster:

Shadow, unlike Luster isn't surprised that the one standing in front of them is the Pony of Shadows and he knows that this isn't Stygian standing in front of them.

The Pony of Shadows. Who is it behind that shroud of Pure Darkness this time?

Because I know you aren't Stygian. I saw him not too long ago before arriving in Ponyville. He seemed pretty content with his life and I highly doubt he'd forfeit it all to go back embracing the Darkness. Also…your color scheme is not the same. When Stygian was the pony of Shadows, his colors were Black and Dark Grey. Your Colors are the same as mine: Black and Platinum which confirms that you are a Child of the Ancients like me.

POS:

It should have been obvious since I have been calling you "Brother" since we have started interacting with each other.

Shadow:

I don't know the whole story but…your mother's death was very traumatizing for him that he lost the will to live. My mother put herself on the line to make him realize that he has far more to live for. That reason for him to live was you. Funny. My mother isn't the sentimental type and from what I have heard, she downright despised him. But since their goals aligned, she had to suck it up…looks like she did, because in the end me and my twin sister wouldn't have been born.

Limbo (The Pony Of Shadows):

Both Shadow and Limbo spread their wings and stare down at each other in a pounce-ready position, waiting for one or the other to make the first move as both Luster and Rose worry for Shadow as Limbo is 5 times his size even though Shadow's Alicorn Form puts him at the same height as Princess Twilight Sparkle. As Shadow stares Limbo straight in the eyes, he feels some familiarity towards Limbo; almost like they really do know each other. However Limbo makes a sneak attack on Shadow by using Shadow Puppets against him from behind. But Shadow was expecting it as he jumps high up to the sky and does a dive kick at Limbo at high speeds that Limbo couldn't dodge or block it straight to his face. Infuriated, Limbo sends a legion of Shadow Puppets after Shadow, but he easily dodges them all and attacks Limbo again relentlessly and at first it looked like Shadow is winning, but Limbo's face swifts from being in pain to a Sinister Smile as he starts counterattacking at Shadow just as ruthlessly as Shadow was attacking him. Shadow moves away from Limbo and decides to use long range magic attacks, but but Limbo's Speed is just as as great or even greater than Rainbow Dash's that no matter how far Shadow is away from him, Limbo bridges the gap instantly and smack him easily. No matter what Shadow does, he can't deal any damage on Limbo. Limbo is withstanding all of Shadow's attack like he's a wall that cannot be be pushed back. Seeing that Shadow can't win, Luster and Rose starts to support Shadow from a distance with Luster using healing spells on him while Rose uses her Katana to fire waves of energy that injure Limbo. Knowing that he needs to use all of his power, Shadow once again tries to achieve the same type of awakening that he used against Trotter, but it's no use as he still can't do it. Seeing Shadow struggle to attain the power of the Element of Life, Limbo uses his shadows to hold down both Luster and Rose which catches both Shadow and Lord Thanatos off-guard that they weren't expecting it, but as Lord Thanatos looks at Limbo, he understands why he's using them as hostages.

Shadow:

(Furious)

Stop that!!!

Limbo:

No. They got involved in this battle, therefore they are fair to be attacked. Let me guess, Brother…You are trying to unlock the power you used against Trotter. Allow me to assist you then.

Limbo claps his hooves together as both Luster and Rose starts to scream in agony as the shadows engulfing them is crushing them to death. Shadow screams for Limbo to stop, but all he does is laugh heinously as the screams goes silent after a resounding horrible and loud crunch sound was heard all around. Shadow is distraught and in shock as he see a pool of liquid falling out of the large black orbs and that causes Shadow to snap as the power he attained when fighting Trotter comes out in full force: Element Of Life Platinum Shadow. The Enraged Awakened Shadow starts to attack Limbo fiercely that he is finally injuring him. Shadow and Limbo fight a very heated battle as Limbo starts to laugh excitedly and fight back even harder as the Large Black Orbs that supposedly ended both Luster and Rose comes undone, setting them free and they are unharmed, but they are in shock seeing Shadow once again attaining his Element of Life Awakening. They want to join in, but Lord Thanatos stopped them and decided to watch from a distance and wait to see how the fight ends. For over an hour, the two Half-Brothers duke it out and they are both evenly match, however Shadow's Awakening is losing steam to the point it starts to fade and as soon as Limbo notices Shadow getting weaker, he decides to power down himself and lands on the ground. Shadow decides to follow him but as soon as he looks to the ground, he sees both Luster and Rose are safe and sound. That for the first time in a long time, he gets emotional seeing them unharmed as the power of his element completely fades.

Limbo:

I didn't take their lives. Didn't you hear me earlier? I want to make Luster my Princess. If I were to end her, I would be a hypocrite. And taking the life of the Daughter of Lord Thanatos right in front of him? I'll admit that I am nuttier than a fruitcake, but I'm not looking for a guaranteed death wish.

Shadow:

Then why—?

Limbo:

I want to fight you at your best. I'll admit that father sealed away most of your power, but using the Power of Your Mother's Element of Life, you can regain all of your power so long as you value all life around you. But as I can see…You only can use the Pseudo Version of your Element unfortunately.

Shadow:

Limbo:

Allow Me To Show You My Full Power As The Pony Of Shadows!

At that moment Limbo powers up and his body is the same size as a Mature Alicorn like Princess Twilight Sparkle and Celestia while maintaining his muscular and imposing look and the platinum glow turns as shiny as he's wearing the same armor as Shadow except more regal and he looks less evil and more like a shadow or a superhero wearing a full body spandex as the Aura surrounding him has a divine glow.

Limbo:

This Is My Full Power As The Pony Of Shadows. However…there's a power beyond this and it's called "Ancient Awakening".

Shadow:

Let me guess: it's where us, The Children of the Ancients tap into their power in order to get stronger.

Limbo:

Indeed. But both you and I are still too inexperienced to actually attain it. Even though this battle ended in a stalemate, I will give the victory to you. Keep the Alicorn Amulet safe and make her wish come true. I believe you can do it. But before I leave I must ask: do you know how to access the Power of the Element of Life now?

Shadow:

Stop that research! The Black Heart Crystals were never meant to exist. The Previous Platinum Shadows tried to harness their power only to bring ruin to the world that my Ancestor, the First Element of Life had to sacrificed herself to restore the world.

Limbo:

The Wheels of Fate has started to turn the moment Trotter arrived in Ponyville and forced you to reawaken the Power of the Element of Life. You know the Prophecy, brother. When both The Alicorn named Platinum Shadow and The Power of the Element of Life Appears in the world, he will be the one to either restore balance to the world or destroy it. You best believe in them, brother. Because you are in one and you are the Main Character of this Divine Comedy. As Limbo disappears in a Black and White Flame, Shadow starts reflecting on everything he said with a somber look on his face while both Luster and Rose worries about him that they leave him alone with his thoughts until he comes to terms with everything he just went through with Limbo. It took Shadow about 2 hours to come to terms with everything as he walks towards Luster, Rose and Lord Thanatos.

Lord Thanatos:

Do you understand the situation, Platinum Shadow?

Shadow:

It's still a jumbled mess. There's a lot I still don't know which understanding the situation is not the word I would use, my lord. But I do know this: it seems my father is planning something big and it's going to plunge Equestria in absolute chaos and he's not working alone.

Lord Thanatos smiles as he waves his large claw-hand and teleports Shadow, Luster and Rose to Apple Bloom's Room where everyone is waiting and are surprised that they actually made it, but before anyone could say anything, Rose walks towards the sickly Apple Bloom and infuses her with the Power of the Anima of Eden, but nothing is happening. Shadow stands by Rose and starts infusing Apple Bloom with his Element of Life as well as Apple Bloom's natural color starts to return to it vibrant glow and To everyone's surprise, Apple Bloom starts to tear-up as she wakes up…

Scene 19.Final: Ponyville, Sweet Apple Acres, Apple Bloom's Room, 12:20 PM

As Apple Bloom wakes up and sees all of her friends and love ones, she starts to sob nonstop as her family hugs her and cries with her while Shadow and Rose look at them with a warm smile. But Apple Jack looks at them and signals Rose to join in. She nervously walks towards them only for Shadow to push her carefully so she inadvertently trips and hugs the Apple Family as they lovingly hug her back as Shadow notices why Apple Bloom was crying: She was visited by her Parents, Bright Macintosh and Pear Butter in her dreams as their ghosts smile and nods at Shadow as they are thanking him for helping their family as the move on to the afterlife without any creature noticing them being there.
