A custom made Brooch and a Beach

It was an exhausting day. Being in the public eye is no easy task as you are watched like a hawk. Lee had prepared my tomorrow's schedule and I need to have an early start. I let know Little Moon that I will have to take an early rest because of the early morning shooting.

Lee woke me at three am as we have to be in the new set location by four in the morning. While getting there I went through the details of yesterday's fan meet. Doing a fan meet after three months, means a lot of news to be spread. I had a little smile on my face as I read the headings.

"Why are you laughing?" asked Lee.

"Just look at these headings.. don't you want to laugh at them," I asked Lee.

"I didn't think they will make lof headlines. with the things you said."

Headlines were:

"Heartthrob no more"

"Taken and Updated"

"No scandal, but a firm promise"

"The mystery in Geo's life"

"A change of career ahead of marriage"

"Coincidence or Fate"

"Geo, they have got an eye on your brooch too. See.." said Lee.

Another heading:

"The Signature Brooch: A commitment for life or"

"A customized Jewel on Geo"

"Matching rings and Matching Brooches."

"A Secret. A Brooch. A Revelation."

Well, I have to say that what they predict is right. I have never worn a brooch before and wearing this signifies something. Something custom-designed, reporters cannot find the source where I purchased it. Maybe I should clarify things.

At the same time, I got a call from Little Moon.

"Are you at the set or still on the way?"

"Still on the way. Aren't you asleep?"

"I have too much work and my mind is not at ease so I cannot sleep."

"Hmm... I'll tell you a story then"

Lee laughed hearing this and I hit him and told be quiet.

"No need George. OH, I forgot to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I got the Brooch, it's the same as yours."

"Yes, I got it to match us both. The two stones represent us. and it's engraved with our initials."

"Then this is..."

"Yes, it's a precious gift. We both have to wear when we go for special occasions and meetings."

"OH... so this is a unique item that only we will have."

"I have the copyright for the design too. I want this to be our heirloom."

"You have thought too much." she laughed.

We talked about stuff for a few more minutes and I realized she has fallen asleep when I heard her regular breathing rhythm. She never knew I have always watched her when she slept.

"What happened?" asked Lee.

"She fell asleep."

"Oh!! too bad...I was going to listen to you and practice how to treat my future girlfriend."

"Shut up Lee!!!"

We were already at the set. The beach, today's location. There is a lot of scenes to be shot as memories in the drama, with several costume changes as well. A full-day shoot.

In between shoots, I thought of something. At least seventy-five percent of the shots today are imaginary ones. As Mr.D said once even though they have known for ten years they had left home on outings just about fifty times. But they had talked and planned a lot of beach outings.

Little Moon's beach hideout was built by Mr.D. He said he did it as a reminder of his promises, so she can visit anytime she wants or feels down. Little Moon has never complained once about not going on those planned outings, but Mr.D knew she was looking forward to them.

I have to say it's refreshing to be near the beach and doing the shots was really interesting. The shooting location of the beach was not known by many and it's a hidden location only a few knew. Little Moon will really like this place, so I went on looking for the owner of the property.

Lee took me to meet a family that lives on the property. A well-dressed gent came out to talk with us.

"We are very happy to meet you, Mr.George."

"Your home looks really beautiful, Mr.Gu" I patted the head of his little daughter who came with her father.

"At first I didn't want to give this place for the shooting." He smiled.

"Why did you change your mind?"

"Well, Mr.D called personally and told me how important this drama is to him. How is he now?"

"He's trying his best, I only hope he won't overwork himself. Did Mr.D let you read the script?"

"Oh yes... Only after reading and talking with Mr.D, I was convinced that I should do it."

"Thank you for allowing us to shoot here."

"Have some tea." His wife bought tea and some sweets for us.

"I don't know if this is ok to ask. But can you please give me permission to bring my future wife here for a visit?" I asked him wondering if he will say yes.

"Future wife?" he asked.

"She is Mr.D's sister. Also the writer of the story," said Lee.

"Congratulations. Mr.George."

"Thank you Mr.Gu. The story is actually about Mr.D and her relationship. They are like brother and sister, soulmates actually."

"Really! so this is a true story." He smiled with disbelief. "I will warmly welcome you and her. When are you hoping to visit?"

"She's not in this country so when I come with her, I will visit. She loves to spend her time on the beach."

"Let us know in advance. So we can arrange a little picnic for you."

"Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Gu. Would you like to see her?"

"Yes Please, "I showed them some photos of Little Moon.

"I thought she must be someone like a model or a high profile lady." They said and I laughed.

"If everyone really met her, they will be surprised to know that she is just a normal girl."

We all laughed and had a pleasant time before heading back to the shooting.
