2 MY LIFE WITH CEREBRAL LYPSIS

MY LIFE WITH CELEBRAL LYPSIS

I was born some years back in a small poor village of nomads, the driest corners of Northen Kenya.I was lucky to be the first born in a family of four.As kid mum used to lay me on the bed as she went out to fetch water on the far away river . Days went on and i grew older and happier each season. I was some months old when mum bought me a doll as this was my best to play around with. She could through it and with a lovely voice she could order me go get it i could crawl to where exactly the doll was. Time went so first and mum could now leave me out to play around with some kids of which some where older than me . I could see them stand with their hands ups as a sign of joy .This was a big problem on my side. I could tryb and could fall to the ground again. The polythene bag filled with vegetable soup could explain . Time went by and one day i tried to stand with a help of objects , though as a kid it was too challaging for mother to realize i had a problem on my muscles, they could not support me stand. With time it was realized and i had to go through physical therapy as that was the most simplest theraputic excises i could under go being that i was young .It started by mum helping me walk up and down through the stairs and could go sucessful though in a slow motion manner. As i grew older i could try to stand with the help of objects such as tables, chairs name them. This time it was functional and i felt happy . I could move with objects to help me reach other kids . One day i tried to stand alone with no object, supringly i did it woow!! My heart smelt with happiness and joy i couldnt believe such passion i had of one day i could walk as my agemates could .Some of them could make some movement after they stood . Mum defined me as a go getter .I tried to my fate to copy what they were doing . At first i could not as my legs were still weak bt as could be left with these fellow kids i tried to copy them . At one point i fell and all laughed at me but i was determined to reach them . Will you imagine if i could end it by telling you that now i can walk, i can even do a better run than them sure time runs so first and when time is right evrything do happen , be humble in waiting . This made me remember one day at the street.

One day during the summer seasons when the was on at the equitor , 21st March no 23rd september i was walking along the streets of one cities in Kenya here and i saw some needy kid walking bear footed on a hot tarmacked road in the afternoon i was realy so sympathetic on the child . I called her and bought her some cheap sandles . She was so happy and really very appreciated as she walked away. As i escort her with move from where i was standing i came to realize something strange there was a begger with no legs bunning on the hot sun requesting for any well wisher who could provide her lunch. I really felt it at hurt . I decided to buy her some food for lunch and she too appreciated for such kindness. Later in the evening as i went back to the estate where i was living i sat on the chair with my legs spread on the table. Something hit me and monolgued something' better have the weak legs than never.
