What Happened Next

So as the day went on I was still by myself and then around lunch the girl who's name was Deborah asked if we could be friends. I said that we could and so day after day we became closer and closer sooner then we knew it we did everything together and we were inseparable. Before we knew it it was half way through the year and one night we had decided to go to a fair that was going on in town. We were giving money to spend on things and we had played like every game. Whatever we won we got the same things. We had wanted to match in everything. Later that night as we were walking around we had met up with the girl who had come up to me in the beginning of the year and it was like the first time, since the beginning of the year that she had talked to me. I was really shocked that she all the sudden had decided to talk to come up and talk to me and my friend. We talked for awhile, but then she said that she had to go and she left. We wished her a goodnight and hoped that would make it home safely. After that I hardly ever saw even more then before. Of course I had never ever paid attention to her because she was not my friend but merely a mutual friend. A few days later one of her friends Jennifer had come up to us and asked us if we had seen Ileah and we both said that we hadn't seen her since Saturday at the fair. We both asked why and Jennifer said that Ileah had gone missing and no one knows where she went. Deborah and I looked at each other and we both had a worried look. We would help look for her but we couldn't promise anything.
