Bottomless Pit

"So, what is this bottomless pit?" I asked curiously, trying to get an idea of what the skill is.

"Bottomless pit is a skill invented by the second elder. Not many people have been able to use this skill because of the toll it takes on the mind. The reason I am teaching you is that I think you are ready due to how much you have been meditating lately" Hymn said with a smile on his face looking at me intently.

"What has happened to the ones who tried to use this skill and failed?" I asked filling with curiosity waiting for his answer.

"The drawbacks of this skill his so great that it has to lead many to commit suicide because they could not handle the serve corruption on the mind" Hymn said looking sad thinking back on the memories of seeing many of his friends die.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to bring up any memories you wanted to be forgotten," I said looking down at the ground feeling bad for Hymn.

"No, it's ok. Now let me give you a demonstration of this skill" Hymn said with steaming coming from his body then forming into an intense aura.

Not even taking my eyes off of him, he disappeared from my sight and me not being able to sense his ki until I felt a hand on my shoulder. Hymn was behind, he had moved so fast that even with my increased senses I still couldn't track him. This still proved how far a gap our power was.

"So how do I use this skill?" I said still taken aback by the power of this skill. Imagine if I stacked this onto Super Saiyan.

"Since, you know the Kawa arts this should come easy to you. Use the Kawa arts but don't use it" Hymn said sounding unsure about what he was talking about.

"What now?" I said tilting my head in confusion trying to make sense of what Hymn just said. After further explanation, I grasped the concept of the skill and started to activate it. A hot sensation started to come from my body as my muscles increased in size and the steam turn into a fierce black aura. The power felt amazing but it wasn't as good as turning into a Super Saiyan, and my muscles increasing in size wasn't always my number one option.

"Wow, this feels good but it not as how I expected it to be," I said opening and closing my hand trying to get used to the feeling.

A skill that increases the user's base power. Depending on the mastery of the skill the multiplier will increase.

"Why is it called bottomless pit?" I asked sidestepping at blinding speeds creating two craters increasing in size the more I sidestepped.

"The multiplier is endless. If you completely master this skill and have the mind for it to be compatible, The amount of time you can increase your base power depends on you but I wouldn't recommend going past 100x. It could seriously injure you" Hymn said sounding even more serious than before.

"Understood"

"So, how about we train and I only want you to use the bottomless pit. If not I will really beat you within an inch of your life" Hymn said with a big grin on his face. He knows I won't be able to keep this up for long.

"Bring it," I say while smirking then kicking off my back foot, throwing a straight left to his chin. In a swift movement, he dodged my attack then sent a fast right kick to my ribs.

I dodge his attack, just in time not to receive critical damage. I vanish to Hymn's side and kick at his knee, this caught him off guard. I landed the attack, Hymn was about to fall but put his hand on the ground, using the momentum to kick me in my stomach and send me back a few meters. I regain balance but I could feel the time with my new found skill seeping away. Hymn sees this and uses this to his advantage, he dashes to me throwing a hard punch toward my face. I block using my forearms and start to use the unique flow of the kawa arts.

The Kawa art consists of fast and sharp movements that are meant to slowly destroy the opponent's vitals. Sometimes I would go to the infirmary to heal the injured people, but I learned more about the Kawa people. About their bodies and techniques but haven't been able to use the skills I learned because I never obtained them, I just procrastinated it. One thing I did learn was everything about a Kawa's body. They have two of everything, but the second one is much smaller than the original.

I drop my defense and put ki into my fingertips. Hymn seeing this becomes more cautious about attacking, so I vanish behind him aiming for a precise spot on the back of his neck. On the back of the necks of Kawa's, they have a sensitive spot that will render them from moving for a short period of time. That was my only option because the amount of time I had in this state was reaching its limit.

Hymn seeing that I was aiming for this spot, his face became wary and a little scared. Just when I thought I had him on the ropes, He transforms and stops my hand from reaching his vital spot. My time reaches its limit and I fall to the ground breathing heavily. I look up to see Hymn with the biggest grin on his face looking like the devil himself.

"I did warn you, now prepare yourself," Hymn said cracking his knuckles and stretching out his whole body.

'He's crazy if he thinks I'm just going to let him almost kill me'. Something I learned in this past month was that I could use Super Saiyan and Ikari at the same time, I never told Bardock or Hymn this because I thought this would be the time to start hiding my actual power, which I have been doing from the start. What Bardock doesn't know is that I could defeat Frieza right now if he were to show up but I have my reasons.

I turn into a Super Saiyan and disperse my aura because it gets annoying with it in my vision while fighting. I use my Ikari mode, which has the same effects as before, increasing my power, muscle size, and speed. I kick off my back foot, leaving a print of my foot in the ground, landing a clean heavy punch to Hymn's jaw. I didn't give him a chance to power up because when he does it does seem like he takes damage in that form, so I'm not taking any chances.

The punch sends him flying and crashing into 23 trees. Hymn gets up and spits the blood in his mouth and starts to charge, In an instant I appear in front of him, kicking him into the sky. To be completely honest, I was scared of what he could actually do to me if he powered up. So I held onto that fear and used that to my advantage. When I vanish into the sky to meet Hymn, he wasn't anywhere to be seen. He masked and ki and disappeared into thin air.

The next thing I knew, I was sitting in a pile of rubble with a couple of trees on top of me. I looked up to see Hymn in an intense white aura and his eyes red looking like a predator who just found its prey.
