MY LIFE IN AND OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL

I had to see Sylvester and ask why he's not been taking my calls. If he is mad at me 'bout something then I have every right to know. We had been friends since third grade, and our father's were friends. We had always been there for each other but ever since we got into High School it's been one argument to another and one excuse or another. I overlooked it all these while and gave much benefit of doubt in the name of Love. Not anymore. I have heard lots of rumors which I don't want to believe. I am very sure Sly would never do anything to hurt me at least I thought so since he offered to take Flora and I out but he never showed up same as my best friend Flora, who called in sick of the flu. I feel bored so I decide to go to Sylvester's house.

"Hey baby, you home?" I call out but he must have been too weak or busy to answer me. Rushing to he's room I stand in awe of what I see. I wished I died too.What hurts the most is the fact that Sly said this had been going on a while. It was really heart breaking but I'm a strong girl. Good thing dad got a transfer. They could enjoy themselves for all I cared.

That night I swore to stay out of relationships till i am rich and famous. How could I have been so blind. I had to transfer to Indiana High-school because of my dad but I was grateful for the timing was perfect. A new beginning is set for me where I'm not known and nothing has happened. I can walk with a new face, emotion and being in total.
