Karaoke 2

So Hito rented a room for 3 people, but of course it's the one with unlimited songs, though this is Hito's first time, it didn't mean that he is clueless.

They went to the room that they rented, he opened it with a key, he and Saki looked around in the karaoke room with a curious expressions.

While Sakura immediately sat down, she already went to a karaoke a lot of times, more than she could count, after all she could get along with everyone so well. Unlike Saki is almost the total opposite of Sakura.

"Yosh! Let's pick a song, so who's gonna sing first?" Sakura looked at the two of them.

"It's gotta be you Sakura."

"Yes, you have to be the first one to sing Sakura-san!"

Sakura nodded, she didn't mind so she looked through the song list, and immediately found the one she likes, then she grabs the remote and puts the ID number of the song.

Hito and Saki thought 'So that's how you use it!' The reason why they told Sakura to be the first one to sing, is because they have no idea how this thing works!

They might both live in a city, but they are pretty much ignorant in this kind of stuff, even the previous life of Hito, he never tried singing in a Karaoke box.

As for Saki she doesn't have many friends in her lifetime, because all of her friends from before are nerdy types, they weren't also experienced in such things.

So Sakura started to sing, the song is about love. Hito never heard of this song but it's good, more like Sakura sang it very well, he could feel that she sang it with her emotions.

He felt conflicted, because he knew that she sang this song for him, even though Saki realized that she also felt uncomfortable for a reason, she thought 'I need to fight back!'

Sakura is in the last chorus of the song, she sang it with her heart. She did her very best shot at this, she knows that she had to do this!

She hopes that he will realize! She hopes that it will reach into him! Her feelings started just a while ago, you might think it's strange for her but she fell in love with him at their first 'Date'

At first Sakura first thought that it's just a misunderstanding of her part that she's in love with a guy that she only knew for 4 days, but then just as she thought that it is the case, but however when she saw him today, her heart went Doki Doki, she never experienced this so called 'Love'

She never felt something like this, and so her song ended.

She smiled and exclaimed.

"Done! So who is next?" She looked expectantly at Hito's reaction, however she was disappointed to see that he had his usual calm expression with a slight smile.

Sakura sighs, but then she doesn't give up. It's not her style to do that, she swears that her feelings will reach him! It might not be today but in the future she is sure!

However she didn't know that her feelings have already reached Hito, he just put a façade in his expression. He doesn't want to accept it yet, not after she's cured.

Now then, before could Hito say anything. Saki stood up from the couch, and declared.

"I'm going to sing next!" Saki decided to move, she felt losing to Sakura if she wouldn't make a move right now!

Saki never once sang a song, true she might hum sometimes but she never sang a proper song, but regardless as a teenager from this generation she listened to some few popular songs, but never attempted to sing it herself.

Hito honestly didn't expect her to voluntary to sing a song next, as a person who had a special skill that he inherited from the original Tadano the skill 'Reading the atmosphere'

He could feel her fighting spirit, the atmosphere turned into a fight between two girls that liked a single guy, and that's him.

You might think that he is a dick head, however he kind of likes this atmosphere, he never really experienced this kind of thing, to be able to make a girl fight with each other for him is a unique experience.

He didn't plan to stop them, he is rather curious on how this thing ends, at the same time he is curious at Saki's voice while singing.

So Saki chose her song, and she was slightly nervous she would never expect

that one day she'll sing in a karaoke room.

Saki started to sing, as her voice came out, it's tone was slightly off and there is an obvious trembling in her tone, however as she continued her voice started to blend with the song perfectly!

Her voice is absolutely perfect for this song!

Sakura and Hito were dumbfounded, for some reason at this moment they could see an illusion of Saki becoming an idol!

She has the potential to be one! Her raw voice is just so good, though in the chorus her high pitch voice is off, but it didn't

affect her overall performance at all!

Hearing Saki's singing. Hito said in his heart 'She's a potential idol! Now that she escaped with her fucked up fate, she could be anything!'

But other than her beautiful voice, the emotions as she sang is clearly showing, it affected both him and Sakura!

The way she expresses it is truly terrific. Saki had finally finished singing, she sigh in relief, but surprisingly she didn't expect that she would sing it perfectly!

She thought that she might have the talent of singing, she looked at both of them and she shyly said.

"W-was my singing good?"

Sakura nodded and exclaimed.

"Saki-san! It's really good! I even thought that I'm watching a live show of an idol!" She expressed her true feelings, she would never expect that Saki, her rival of love would be so good at singing!

She felt a little bitter in her heart, she knew that she couldn't beat Saki at singing.

Hito agreed with Sakura's words, he truthfully said.

"Saki, you have the potential to become a very famous idol!"

Saki was stunned at his words, she immediately denied.

"N-no way! You don't have to overpraise me! Me becoming an idol? There is no way that's happening!"

Hito and Sakura disagreed with her, they really think that she had a potential of being an idol!

The two didn't bring it up again, however Hito thought 'This time, I'm going to change your destiny Saki! You're going to be an idol...but if she wouldn't accept it then I won't force her either.'
