As he upgraded his Math, he suddenly felt a slight change to his brain, he felt that he could understand Math more simpler than before!

He wanted to upgrade it to the limit if possible!

Everytime he upgraded his Math, it would cost twice the Surprise Points as before.

It was upgraded to these grades, [ Beginner ], [ Novice ], [ Veteran ], [ Professional ], [ Expert ], [ Prodigy ].

He wanted to upgrade it to the last one, but he couldn't because his Surprise Points were insufficient!

But even so, his math knowledge was expanding, unlike before when he could barely understand the mathematics questions on the board.

But now it's too simple! He could solve it like 1+1 right now, becoming a Top scorer in Mathematics is a piece of cake!

Not just in his school but he is confident that he would Top in Mathematics in the entire Japan! It wasn't being boastful for it is the truth.

While he was thinking what is beyond, the [ Prodigy ] suddenly the teacher noticed him not listening to her subject!

Hito's expression looks like someone, who is daydreaming. The teacher feels that she needs Hito to pay attention to her subject or else he'll fall behind his peers.

She had a brilliant idea, she had to embarrass him in the entire class so he wouldn't daydream anymore and maybe just maybe it will drive him to learn math more seriously!

"Tadano-kun! It seems like you're not paying attention to my subject, it's just the first day of school and you're already acting like a bad student! So pay attention okay?"

Hito woke up from his daydream, and his classmates started to laugh at his reaction, he thought 'What hell...well it is my fault but...I can't accept this!'

Hito suddenly felt his pride was hurt, though he doesn't understand why he was feeling like this?

His guess that it was because of his recent upgrade of his [ Math ] Skill, a part of him had this so called 'Arrogance'

Hito raised his right hand, and it was noticed by the teacher.

"Yes? What is it Tadano-kun?"

"Sensei, what if i didn't pay attention to your subject because I'm pretty confident that I can solve any Mathematics problems that you'll write in the board easily, and not only that I'm confident that I can Ace my Mathematics exam! I'm actually a Math Prodigy!"

Hito said it boldy, one could notice in his voice there was a deep 'Pride' and 'Arrogance' when he said the words "Math Prodigy"

It wasn't a lie, however his words were ignored by his classmates.

"Arrogance is good man, but you shouldn't say something like that."

"Yeah, you should use that as an excuse."

"You're pretty confident."

"Hahaha, you're pretty funny!"

Hito expected a bunch of curses and ridicule, but this wasn't what he expected instead that his classmates comforted him and advised him.

'I guess those only happen in Xianxia. I hated that genre anyway! It doesn't exist here, it's Japan not china.' he thought.

The teacher smiled at him and said.

"You don't have to say something outrageous as that, as an excuse."

The teacher kindly reminded him, she didn't scold him or anything she just kindly advised him.

Hito thought 'Ahh, my adviser is so nice! But teacher, I'm serious!'

"I see, so you won't believe me...fine then Teacher mind putting a math problem please?"

The teacher pondered for a while, and she accepted Hito's challenge, so she decided to put a mathematics problem from a semester exam.

"Okay done, Tadano-kun solve this if you're really confident!"

She thought 'I'm he couldn't solve this, after all they weren't taught something so advanced like this, he'll tone it down after this.'

Hito stood up from his seat, and went to the black board, and stared at it for a moment.

"Tadano-kun you don't have to force yourself."

Suddenly he picked up the chalk and calmly solved the problem with ease, and he was using a completely different formula! It's more advanced and simple!

He just made that easy to understand, not even a full minute, he already solved the question.

"Done! Please check it Sensei!"

Ding! 1+ Surprise Point!

'Oh, I got another one! I guess it's only Teacher who got surprised this time.' he thought, calmly waited for his teacher to finish checking his answer.

After a few minutes, the teacher said with a surprised tone.

"It's correct! But this formula...it's more simple and advanced! Tadano-kun! Who taught you about this formula?"

Hito shook his head, and simply told the truth.

"Sensei, I created that formula myself."

Ding! 1+ Surprise Point!

His teacher had a shocked expression, and then suddenly she smiled forcefully, and said.

"Impossible, you don't need to lie you know?"

"But Sensei I didn't really, I created that formula myself, try giving me a university level Mathematics problem, I'll solve it one by one."

The teacher hesitated for a while, if she's going to do this it will eat all of her subject time, but for the sake of her curiosity, she decided to accept.

So she started to put the first mathematics problems on a university level.

First Problem Solved ✓

Second Problem Solved ✓

Third Problem Solved ✓

Fourth Problem Solved ✓

Not just his teacher anymore, even classmates are in a complete shock, and he is steadily getting more Surprise Points!

Though his classmates couldn't understand the problems, the fact that their teacher said that he solved it correctly.

They were all surprised, and Hito used various kinds of new Formula that he recently made in his head.

At that moment they believed that Tadano Hitohito is a real deal Mathematics Prodigy!

Hito doesn't really care about that, all he wanted is to boost his Surprise Points!

His teacher looked at him in a different way now, and then she stared at Hito with a serious expression.

"Tadano-kun! You're indeed a Mathematics Prodigy! But because of that you should really join the Mathematics Club in the school! This is no longer a simple matter! You! Have! To! Join! The! Mathematics! Club!"

Hito looked at his Teacher, and said seriously.

"Sensei I'm sorry but I refuse!"
