Winning

The dragons swarmed high and low as Lance watched on from his seat, hidden behind a large boulder that sat in the middle of a clearing in the forest. He had come to investigate why they weren't attacking each other yet. It was hard not to be curious about their behavior when they didn't get along with each other very well.

The fact they were fighting over who got the most food did make him want to fight for it too. He had never really fought dragons before, he only heard stories about them from the other kids at school but he thought dragons were cool. Lance knew some people could fly and had seen pictures in books, but he' never met anyone. He always thought they lived inside mountain caves, so he wanted to see one up close.

His curiosity was cut short however when one of the dragons decided it had enough and turned on him and launched himself at his hiding spot, which just so happened to be where he was sitting.
