Suri

"He must be a hot shot in this building or something." Shiro shrugged.

Lance himself was so confused by what had just happened , that his brain could not find any coherent explanation to why the guy was staring at him like a deer caught in the headlights and was about to pass out. It also didn't make sense that he looked familiar…

Shiro took the paper out to examine it 'OA' before handing it to Lance.

"Just random letters?" Shiro said.

Lance nodded, still not quite believing what had just happened.

"I'm sure there's an inside joke in there," Shiro added."Or maybe they're just trying to be mysterious? I mean, look at that handwriting..." He waved the paper again.

"It looks almost like-" Lance held up his hand. "

"Hold on," he interrupted. "Let me think about this for a moment. Oh that's because it's nothing!"

Lance chuckled nervously. "It's definitely nothing!"

Shiro laughed awkwardly. "Look guys, this is just some random scribbles plus that old man is nuts anyways!" He looked around.

"Fadi..." Lance mumbled.

A cleaner overheard their conversation from over by the stairs.

"I had to clean those corpses up the other day...he won some event or something." The man stated. He stated.

"Didn't you say you've seen him before...?" Shiro replied.

Lance looked horrified. Shiro gave him a sympathetic smile.

"SHIRO! YOU ASSHOLE!" A voice shouted.

From above Aleena glared at Shiro. "What were you thinking?" She asked as she descended the stairs, her arms crossed.

"Yes I am! And no you do not get to question my fashion choices!" She snapped as she passed him without another word.

He turned to Lance.

He turned to Lance in confusion. He had no idea what to say…The cleaning man seemed amused though. Lance was caught off guard by the expression on his face.

He ran up the steps to have Aleena to gawk at a Lance menacingly who quielty walked away to the lobby to find Suri on the screen in front of him excited and animated she was standing beside a superhero who was largely known for on top of comic covers.

Lance's heart raced and he was unable to contain how happy he was to see his old friend again even if Suri was now a superhero to him and seemed to recall one of the kids even said it and she did show similar powers to his Mom.

He bent down thinking about how her corpse was in his room making him not want to go back upstairs even if it's gone. Shiro was out with Aleena leaving him all alone again. He stood back up and tried to shake off the uneasy feeling which persisted since he arrived here.

His thoughts were soon cut short when he heard footsteps coming from behind and suddenly a figure blocked out the sun's rays causing him to squint slightly.

"Hello handsome." The person said smiling at him.

Lance couldn't help but stare at the stranger. The stranger had wavy dark hair pulled into a loose ponytail. the person pointed at the screen while Suri was talking to the reporter on the screen. The stranger's outfit included some kind of tight red crop top that stopped half way down his legs.

As Lance was getting lost in thought, the stranger reached down to his belt and unhooked a pistol. He pointed it at him and smiled menacingly and whispered softly in his ear.

"Later we will be taking her as you are Crimson Crows kid maybe you would like some early training." The person smirked.

Lance jumped in fright as the gun was put against the back of his head. He looked at the stranger fearfully.

"Don't even think about running boy you will regret it." He whispered, his breath was warm on the back of his neck.

Lance was speechless as he followed the man outside to where a motorcycle stood parked in the side yard. He gulped as he saw the black helmet resting on the seat. The stranger noticed how nervous he was.

"You can wear it but be aware the mask is meant to protect your identity. Don' worry it'll keep you safe."

The stranger got on the motorcycle and handed him the helmet before revving the engine and speeding out of the yard. Lance struggled with the helmet as he finally managed to remove it. Lance quickly placed the bike helmet on his head and tightened the strap to make it fit properly.

He was terrified to be taken somewhere where people knew his name and he had no means of escape. The two of them rode across town in silence until they stopped next to a small house with white paint. The driveway was lined with several cars that looked very expensive.

"Be very quiet..." the stranger warned as he dismounted the bike.

"Is this where that girl lives?" He whispered.

He watched in terror as the new kidnapper slowly made his way towards a tall oak tree growing near the house. As he approached the tree he began to climb it. Lance felt dizzy as he tried to focus on the road below. There wasn't much traffic this late in the evening and even fewer cars.

"Do you not know this girl is?" He asked.

Lance had no idea how to answer such a thing since he did not want to reveal he went to school with for a short time.

"I am pretty confident about it." Was all he replied, keeping his eye fixed ahead of him on the street. Suddenly the door opened revealing a young girl who was clearly surprised to see the strange man standing on her porch with someone unfamiliar.

"Hey little lady. How ya doing tonight?" He flashed a cocky grin.

Lance was nervous about showing himself in front of the girl, so he stayed hidden beneath the large helmet covering his entire face.

"I would like you to meet my friend." He laughed.

Seeing Suri made Lance want to hide his face. He didn't understand why she was so nice to someone she never met before but then again, she did say he was a special case. Perhaps her mother was a famous model?

The man pulled his helmet off revealing lance's face causing Suri's face to light up with a wide smile.

"Lance?!" She shouted.
