Polished

Lance screamed out loud as blood lined his face as his dragons swarmed him and tore into his flesh. He clutched onto Lance's chest for dear life while the dragon ripped into his arms. The two men were on their knees in the grass, Lance's head bleeding profusely as blood pooled beneath him. They watched helplessly from the sidelines as another dragon tore at Lance's legs before biting and tearing it apart. They watched helplessly as one of the knights tried to rush towards them but a sharp cry from behind kept them rooted to the spot.

"Shit" Keith muttered. "It was an accident. It was all an accident…" He said again like a mantra, trying to convince himself more than anyone else. But he could not lie to himself anymore. His father was dead, Keith had killed him. He hadn't meant to. But now he would pay the price.
