Importance

It was a boring day while lance gawked out the window watching his dragons groom themselves for some sort of training exercise with no apparent intention to do anything but eat the grass outside. His father always said he was too much like his mother; too impatient and eager to get out there and fight in battle, instead of just sitting around doing nothing all day long.

He'd be a great knight in another life if that' what he wanted to do; Lance could already picture himself wearing white armor and riding his white steed across a battlefield while the enemy screamed as he decapitated them one by one.

He didn't want to waste his potential as a knight though. Even if he was still young enough to take up combat training once he turned fifteen.

Not too old, not too old… He thought to himself as he sat on his cot, playing with his long braid. He had a bit more time until he was of age anyway. He wasn't going to let it go to waste. He might as well get used to being an adult first.
