Accident!

After that incident, these idiots didn't even dare to look at me.

The adults tried to question them, asking who did that to them and why.

But they didn't dare sell me out. Other than being afraid of me, they were worried about the pictures I took.

I just gave them one order to keep those pictures secret.

Jack..

My dear friend Jack, I told them to make his social life miserable.

I hold grudges... Sue me.

My life got a bit easier, my dad stopped drinking a bit, getting a new proper job. Though his actions towards me and my druggy mother never changed.

Every single day, I always dreamed of what I'd do to him. what pain i'll inflict on him and how his screams are going to sound like.

I still hunt, food was still a bit scarce.

The school's cafeteria helped.

My knife skills got a lot better, I never make mistakes now.

I skinned and gutted so many animals that I can do it with my eyes closed.

But unfortunately, I never got to use them on him. The bastard got it easy.

After getting a call from his boss, telling him to get here as fast as he could. My dear dad ran out, grabbing his bag and wearing his usual suit.

I followed after him, giving him the phone he forgot. I did it not out of love, but if i didn't remind him or somehow didn't magically know, i'll get beat up again.

That's when I saw it. the reflection of the sunlight on a wet floor, without the sign indicating it.

I should have warned him, Just so that I can do it my own way. I didn't know he was going to die.

It happened too fast, putting all his weight on one leg, slipping.

My father tumbled down the stairs, making loud thudding sounds with every step. His body was a broken mess, All his limbs bent unnaturally.

I stood there, watching him. He was still alive, looking at me, I could see the desperation in his eyes.

He wanted me to call for help, to do something.

I just stood there, enticed by the scene.

I had his phone in my hand still, took some pictures of the wet floor and the absence of a wet floor sign.

I didn't have a phone, he said it wasn't worth the money.

I read a lot of books about the law, and i know exactly what to do at that point.

Well later that is. At that moment, I kept looking at him, seeing tears in his eyes. He was alive for 10 minutes, forced to bear all that pain until he slowly passed away. And I still believe he deserved more suffering than that.

I called the police then, telling them about the accident, as well as my mother's heavy addiction to drugs.

I knew I would get the money for my father's accident, and I didn't want that bitch to get a cent from it. She will definitely spend it on the shit she keeps taking.

It happened quickly, the police were everywhere. i showed them the pictures and explained that when i saw my dead father's phone on the table, i picked it up and ran after him, only to see the traumatizing scene.

A lawyer was assigned, he took care of everything and I successfully got a huge compensation from the building owner.

Though I heard the janitor that forgot the sign got into some deep trouble. going to jail and sued by the building owner himself.

None of my business though.

The money was put in a bank account with my name, i can't touch it until i turn 18. which was annoying but i couldn't do anything about it.

Going into an orphanage was hell to some, But to me it was the best place I've slept in.

Though I stayed there for 2 months before being adopted. The kids that were with me were not very talkative, and i didn't care about any of them so i had no issues leaving, especially after i saw the expensive clothing my new parents had on.

Their names were Edward and Rachel. I liked them a lot, They were what I imagined how real parents would act with their children.

Though sadly, I wasn't the only one.

This chapter is longer than usual, but i liked it more than the rest so i'll be trying to write chapter longer.
