Plot Advance

Slowly waking up from my nap, I turned my gaze on Rize to see if she was awake, which she wasn't, so spending a few minutes running my hand through her hair I waited for her to wake up, which she did minutes later.

Blinking her eyes to shake off the sleep and stupor of waking up, I kept running my hand through her hair lightly, after several seconds the sleep and stupor disappeared from her eyes, so smiling at that I said, "Good morning Rize".

To which she looked up at me and smiled, "Good morning Frank", after saying that she came closer to my face to kiss me, so I got closer and let her kiss me, a few seconds later we separated, "If every time I wake you up you welcome me with a kiss, maybe I could get used to it", to which she let out a light laugh, "If you kiss me every time I wake you up, maybe I could get used to it", to which she let out a light laugh.

"Would that be a bad thing?", to which shaking my head at his question, I let out a light laugh, so after talking for a bit, we stayed in the same spot watching TV, for several minutes.

Once in the living room sitting on the couch, I put my hands on Rize's waist while she hugged me, "You probably already know this, but some pigeons are heading this way", to which she just nodded while we continued watching TV, to which I let out a small laugh at her disinterest, "District 20 won't be as peaceful as before, so stay alert", observing my look and serious tone to the matter, Rize nodded with the same expression.

"Why are you so serious about this?" turning her face which is on my chest leaning towards me, Rize asked a little confused about my seriousness about the matter.

To which passing my hand through her hair in a soothing action. "It's just a bad feeling, it seems to be the calm before the storm", to which listening carefully to my words, she nodded, once we finished talking about this matter, we continued relaxing.

"Hey I was thinking about going out, and how about we reschedule for tomorrow?", I asked Rize as we watched our series since tomorrow would be Saturday and it would be a good way to go on a date.

To which after answering with an "Nn", I planted a kiss on her head, to which she just smiled, spending several minutes like that until it was time to go to my work, I relaxed on the couch with my sexy and beautiful girlfriend.

Leaving the house, I looked up at the sky, to which after seeing that it was clear, I nodded slightly as I began my minutes walk to Anteiku, on my walk I talked to Ruby about various topics until we came to a question I asked her.

("And you want to have a Ruby body?"), was what I asked her.

[For the moment, I would like to stay this way with you, as I am closer to you and I don't want to leave this feeling if you gave me the choice, I would prefer to keep my connection with you].

To which nodding slightly in response, I continued my walk. ("But if I get you to have a body while still maintaining your connection to me, would you accept it?"), to which seeing Anteiku in the distance, I slowed down my walk until I heard her question.

[If it makes you happy and you'll find a way, I'd be happy to accept it, Frank.]

Then that will be one of my most important missions, apart from exploring the worlds I dreamed of", to which I climbed the stairs to the entrance of Anteiku, I heard Ruby's laughter in my mind.

To which I shook my head, I entered the place that had a closed sign, once inside I found only Yoshimura, so I approached him and greeted him. "Good morning Yoshimura, and Enji, and Kaya?", was what I asked while I sat on the stool.

I let out a light laugh at my enthusiasm. "Good morning Frank-Kun," was what Yoshimura answered at my greeting. "Enji and Kaya are upstairs changing, why do you ask?" to which I ran my hand through my hair and turned my gaze on him.

"Nothing, since I didn't see them down here, I thought it was a unique thing that they came earlier than me yesterday", hearing my answer, Yoshimura let out a light laugh while shaking his head, "Oh! and I also have something to ask you", to which arching his eyebrow, Yoshimura waited for my question.

"Can I have tomorrow off?" to which, with a kind smile on his face, Yoshimura nodded.

"Sure, you can have it, you've been coming in every day earlier than everyone else, having a day off will make you relax," to which I let out a nervous laugh at his words, and his gaze fixed on me, as he said his last words, I didn't tell him that it wasn't necessary.

"Thank you for that Yoshimura," seeing my sincere look of thanks he just smiled, while shaking his head.

"No need to thank me Frank-Kun," to which finishing saying that, I saw out of the corner of my eye as Enji and Kaya came down the stairs, to which with a smile on my face, I turned my gaze on them.

"Enji, Kaya, good morning," to which stopping talking they turned their gaze on me, to which smiling at that, Enji and Kaya approached us.

"Looks like we beat you today Frank-Kun," Enji said as a proud smile appeared on his face.

"Don't drag me into your games Enji," to which deflating visibly, at Kaya's comment, she turned her gaze on me.

Smiling slightly at the sight of me, "Good morning Frank-Kun," was what Kaya said as an affectionate look passed over her face, to which I ran my hand through my hair, and seeing that the gains of affection do affect her attitude towards me, I smiled in response.

"Same Kaya-san," to which shaking her head slightly, Kaya spoke again.

"Call me Kaya"

To which seeing her look that doesn't take 'no' for an answer, I reply with a smile on my face, "Okay Kaya, but if I call you that, you call me Frank", to which nodding in agreement with my condition, I turned my gaze on Enji, "You too Enji-san, Yoshimura can call me Frank", to which with a kind smile on his face he replied.

"Then call me Enji, Frank," to which nodding at that, I waited for Yoshimura's response.

To which I nodded, "If you agree, then I'll call you Frank from now on," to which I nodded at that, and we chatted for a few more minutes, until I went to change and we went back to work.

[3rd Point of View]

In another part of the 20th district, far from the Anteiku cafe, we can see a group of 3 Ghouls running between alleys escaping from something, or would have been if their path hadn't been blocked.

In front of the group of Ghoul, we can see a tall man with dark black hair, wearing a white shirt and green tie with a gray trench coat and black pants and shoes of the same color.

In his hand he held what is called a 'Quinque', a weapon made from the Kagune of a ghoul which is melted down to make this weapon in combination with Quinque steel, the Quinque emits an electrical signal stimulating the Kakuhou, which allows a human to release and control the Quinque as if it were a real Kagune.

The Quinque of the man in front of the Ghoul group is shaped like a cylinder which is supported from a bar made of steel Quinque.

Stopping their run the Ghouls were about to turn back the way they came when a man with shoulder-length white hair wearing a white shirt and red tie, along with a grey trench coat and grey trousers.

He held in his hand a Quinque that extended to end in a sharp end in his hands, as he slowly walked towards the terrified-faced Ghouls, he turned his gaze slightly towards his companion. "Well done Amon-Kun, now let's get some information out of these Ghouls," said the white-haired man, as he said the words, Ghouls, in a different tone.

"Hai Mado-san," to which after saying that, he tightened his hands around his Quinque.

While they were having that little conversation, one of the Ghouls said to the others, "What are we afraid of, we're more than them! We can kill him!", to which the other Ghouls, after listening to them, nodded.

"You're right there's only two of them and three of us! We can finish them off!"

"Let's go get 'em!"

Cheering as they shouted that, the Ghouls pulled out their Kagune, which was 2 Bikaku and the last one was an Ukaku. to which the two Bikaku ran towards the two men blocking their way, while the Ukaku fired in the distance.

Letting out a sigh at that, the white-haired man waited for the Ghoul to approach him while blocking the Ukaku's projectiles in the distance. "Learn this as a lesson Amon-Kun," which blocking another Ukaku projectile as he approached the Ghoul running towards him.

Thinking he could seize a moment, the Ghoul used his Bikaku in the shape of a scorpion tail, trying to pierce its tip against the man, surprised when the man in front of him used his Quinque to deflect his Kagune to his side, to which taking advantage of that he ran towards the Ghoul, to which once near him he pierced his head as if it were butter.

With his Quinque piercing the Ghoul through the head, he threw it towards the Ukaku Ghoul, the moment he threw the Bikaku Ghoul towards the other, the Kagune Ukaku's projectiles easily pierced the Ghoul's body, to which the Ghoul thinking he hit the man behind the body stopped throwing his projectiles, to which it was a surprise when the man ran towards him while stretching his hand with Quinque in hand.

With his outstretched hand he activated his Quinque, which opened and his form that extended to have a sharp end disappeared, with the Quinque activated, he used it to trap the Ghoul inside him, which he did, as the Ghoul was still in shock in that 2 to 3 seconds.

Once the Ghoul was trapped inside the Quinque's tentacles, he squeezed the Quinque's tentacles, which caused the Ghoul trapped in his tentacles to bend unnaturally, to which after a few seconds, the ghoul became U-shaped.

Deactivating his Quinque which returned to its original form, he turned his gaze on his apprentice who defeated his Ghoul already who was terrified at the way his companion died."Kill the Ukaku first before proceeding with the other Ghoul and if you can't kill them instantly wait for them to get tired or throw them to their companions," having said that he raised his Quinque high in the air, "And the lesson you must always keep in mind, kill them," having finished saying that he thrust his Quinque through the two already dead Ghouls.

"Understood Amon-Kun?"

"Hai Mado-san!" nodding at his apprentice's affirmative response, he turned his gaze towards the terrified Ghoul on the floor who was wearing an Rc cell restraint collar around his neck.

Taking small steps towards him, "Now little friend," he said as he walked towards him, "You wouldn't happen to know who is causing the deaths of the past few days?" to which the man shook his head sharply in response.

"Are you sure, if you say so we might let you go," to which hearing the white-haired man's reply, a look full of hope appeared within of face a the Ghoul.

"I-I don't know who h-", before he wanted to finish his sentence, the Ghoul's head flew through the air, still with a hopeful look on his face.

To which with a surprised look, his apprentice turned her gaze on him. "Mado-san, didn't you say you would let him go," to which humming in response for a few seconds, he turned her gaze on Amon.

"Tell me Amon-Kun, when you promise something to an ant, do you keep it?", to which surprised by the question, Amon shook his head, to which with a nod, the man while putting away his Quinque in an iron case. "Well it's the same here Amom-Kun, you don't keep your words with despicable creatures", said the white-haired man while he had a deranged look on his face.

To which he finished putting away his Quinque and spoke again, "Come Amon-Kun, there is still light to continue our investigation," to which receiving an "Hai!" in response, he continued walking in search of other Ghouls.
