Ch. 86 - Deep affection.
I gently hands her the fries, smelling its savoury aroma makes her mouth watery. I want to indulge in eating them too, but I could always buy again for myself, she doesn't enjoy the same luxuries as I do. She's in a more destitute situation, I know how it feels to be financially limited, I've been there before. I smiled at her and hugged her one last time before I stood up to cook.
"Even when I hurt your feelings and even when your sulking at me. You still care about my well being, you're still the same affectionate person who loves me deep down."
She told me.
It made me blush a little bit.
"Uh...huh...okay. Time to cook."
I then went to the kitchen, leaving Sarah by the couch to rest for a bit. Still feeling guilty, cooking a proper, nutritious meal for her could be the redemption I need. I gathered some ingredients and set them up by the counter, I then felt something warm pressed onto my back.
