My Legendary Weapon Can Evolve Infinitely!

Our discord server: https://discord.gg/d9z3CCEXWw The past, the present, and the future will all be connected. Human society will learn how things were in the past when gods walked among men and monsters roamed freely. When Earth was finally connected to the multiverse, the entire world erupted into chaos! It was as though reality itself was contorting to accommodate countless versions of itself. Astonishingly, it began to expand, stretching its boundaries beyond imagination. At that time, Jason was recovering from the betrayal of his girlfriend cheating with her supposed best friend. He looked for solace by retreating to a serene lake for a weekend of fishing. Craving solitude to deal with his thoughts, he wanted some peace. But as soon as he stepped out of his car, the ground convulsed violently. Much to his surprise, a mysterious system had been activated, revealing portals to alternate dimensions. Suddenly, Jason found himself thrust into the depths of a dungeon, a valuable treasure chest right before him. Within that chest was the Infinite Dagger—a legendary weapon capable of infinite evolution! From a mere dagger to a formidable sword and even transforming into a bow—its potential knew no bounds! Jason was surprised at his unexpected fortune, yet he understood that obtaining such a treasure wouldn't be without risks. No, crossing this dungeon would be a stroll. He stood at its precipice, facing a boss—a towering, purple-hued Colossus that looked like it came out of a fantasy world. To add insult to injury, he would need to get rid of the boss's minions. The real question remained: How could he, at level one, defeat the dungeon's boss?

Chapter 36 - Boss skills

When the sun was rising, Jason was heading toward the boss chamber while carrying a bunch of spears made of bones on his back. While his armor was quite heavy, the bones weren't as much even though they occupied more space room to their density.

Just for funsies, when Jason found the boss, he decided to attack from a distance, even though he had a clear feeling that it wouldn't work. His guess was right… when he fired a Mana Arrow, an invisible barrier appeared and then blocked the attack completely.

"I guess I should have known… in any case, let's confirm a few things before showtime," Jason thought.

Frenzy: When activated, the user with the Frenzy skill enters a heightened state of aggression, it receives a increase of attack speed, damage output, and critical hit chance.

Swordsmanship: it enhances the user proficiency, techniques, and understanding of swordplay. It provides various combat benefits, such as increased attack speed, accuracy, critical hit chance, and damage with bladed weapons.

Territorial Advantage: This refers to the strategic benefit gained by controlling certain areas or territories on the map. It typically involves capturing and holding key locations that provide various advantages, such as resources, defensive positions, or access to important objectives. (Building Speed: 30%, Defensive Bonus: 20%)

Army Growth: It represents the ability of a faction in an area to increase the size, strength, and capabilities of its military forces. It involves recruiting or training new units, researching technologies to unlock advanced military options, and acquiring resources to support a larger army. (50% bonus)

Leadership: it refers to the skill that allows a faction to effectively command and coordinate their forces or teammates. It encompasses various aspects, including strategic decision-making, tactical awareness, communication, and the ability to inspire and motivate others. (Experience Bonus: 30%)

Jason wasn't sure what he could make out of that… he felt like the boss was the commanding unit of a RTS. It didn't make sense at all… Regardless, those skills made sense for a king to have, but he wondered how they could affect monsters by giving them more experience.

"Well, anyway… it is time to have some fun," Jason thought and then grabbed one of the bone spears.

It was only recently that Jason realized it, but the most amazing thing about his weapon wasn't the fact that it could transform or give him the power to use some skills… it was the fact that it couldn't get destroyed or suffer any damage. Thanks to that, her carved those spears quite fast and without any drawbacks whatsoever.

In any case, Jason walked back to the direction of the entrance of the dungeon and the boss looked at him with some surprise… it seemed that he scared the human again. The boss got even more surprised when Jason suddenly returned with those sudden leaps and then quickly arrived in the chamber and threw one of the bone spears.

The enemy quickly raised its sword to block the attack and it pulled it off, the spear was stopped, but then it pushed the sword forward after he fired some Fireballs at the butt of the weapon. The beast lost sight of Jason thanks to that, and then it grunted in pain when it felt its legs being pierced by something. When the monster recovered and got up, it saw two bone spears had hit and pierced its knees a bit.

"Let's dace… or sing Kumbaya together, your choice," Jason said while transforming his weapon into the bow.

The boss grunted in annoynace and charged toward Jason while ignoring the wound. The attack only made the beast lose two hundred points of health, and that could be regenerated in ten seconds, after all.

The boss closed in the distance in just three steps and then swung its massive blade at Jason. He barely had time to jump and dodge the attack and felt a shiver run down his spine… the emotions didn't end there. The boss swung it's left arm to hit Jason and there wasn't much that he couldn't do in that situation.

In the end, Jason blocked the attack by transforming the weapon into a shield, but he was still pushed backward against the wall of the chamber. A single punch made him feel like some of his ribs were cracking, but it could have been worse… if Jason hadn't grabbed some spears and pointed them at the enemy. Thanks to that, the spears pierced the hands of the beast a bit, making it lose five hundred points of health and also forcing the beast to retreat and not smash Jason against the wall.

While Jason landed on the ground coughing, the boss shook their hands, and then the bone spears fell. The monster soon swung its massive blade at him again, but then Jason blocked with his shield after lowering his stance. While Jason was being pushed to the side, he fired numerous Fireballs at the face of the monster, but each hit was only causing ten points of damage… considering his firing speed and the enemy's regeneration speed, he could only cause twenty points of damage per second…

"I can't last five minutes agaisnt this motherfucker," Jason thought once he realized that he had lost twenty percent of his health already. "It is time to bring the big guns…"
