My Legendary Weapon Can Evolve Infinitely!

Our discord server: https://discord.gg/d9z3CCEXWw The past, the present, and the future will all be connected. Human society will learn how things were in the past when gods walked among men and monsters roamed freely. When Earth was finally connected to the multiverse, the entire world erupted into chaos! It was as though reality itself was contorting to accommodate countless versions of itself. Astonishingly, it began to expand, stretching its boundaries beyond imagination. At that time, Jason was recovering from the betrayal of his girlfriend cheating with her supposed best friend. He looked for solace by retreating to a serene lake for a weekend of fishing. Craving solitude to deal with his thoughts, he wanted some peace. But as soon as he stepped out of his car, the ground convulsed violently. Much to his surprise, a mysterious system had been activated, revealing portals to alternate dimensions. Suddenly, Jason found himself thrust into the depths of a dungeon, a valuable treasure chest right before him. Within that chest was the Infinite Dagger—a legendary weapon capable of infinite evolution! From a mere dagger to a formidable sword and even transforming into a bow—its potential knew no bounds! Jason was surprised at his unexpected fortune, yet he understood that obtaining such a treasure wouldn't be without risks. No, crossing this dungeon would be a stroll. He stood at its precipice, facing a boss—a towering, purple-hued Colossus that looked like it came out of a fantasy world. To add insult to injury, he would need to get rid of the boss's minions. The real question remained: How could he, at level one, defeat the dungeon's boss?

Chapter 32 - No pain no gain

The orcs defended themselves with their weapons, but some didn't react In time and were hit in their heads. At that point in time, the arrows could kill them instantly with critical damage… even if it had to pierce their brain.

The orcs finally realized the danger of the situation when they saw their allies dying and the smell of blood circulating in the area. Several of them left their camps armed with spears and shields… They used all the metal that they found in the city to make those. They didn't seem that reliable, but it was better than nothing.

"Wait, what?" Jason opened his eyes widely when he noticed that their levels had increased since the previous day. "All of them are at level fifty-one now… is it because they kept fighting the Viletooth?"

Jason knew that monsters could level up, but he thought that he had killed all of those who were about to level up… it was hard to believe that all of them fought enough monsters to level up.

"... unless their experience is shared among the whole tribe," Jason thought. That means that even if one of them dies, the strength of the others that will come will be above them… this is really the worst."

Jason knew that people could be in a bad spot, but things were way worse than he had predicted. Monsters fighting each other wasn't exactly a good thing. In the end, one species would emerge and begin to rule over the others using all of their might. Still, that was a problem for another day… The orcs finally reached Jason and began their attack.

When the first of them tried to stab Jason with the spear in its right hand, Jason dodged to his left side, escaped the weapon, and then quickly punched the face of the enemy twice. The creature's eyes rolled since it lost half of its health just like that.

"By focusing on speed, I can only do this much, huh," Jason furrowed his eyebrows.

Two other monsters tried to impale him, but Jason jumped and then their spears pierced the air. He used their weapons to stand again, and then Jason punched them in their faces and used Mana Arrows at the same time, making half of their heads explode due to the damage at point-blank range.

Three other enemies tried to stab him from the side. Still, Jason jumped backward and then avoided the hit, moving thirty meters in the air and then landing half a second later. Just as he had expected, Speed Boost was really useful.

The monsters looked as surprised as they could be, but they still charged at Jason with blood in their eyes and earth-shattering bloodlust.

They let out a unified, guttural war cry that reverberated through the night, their voices blending into a terrifying chorus. The ground quaked beneath their heavy boots as they advanced, their charge guided by a savage instinct honed through countless battles and a desire for revenge.

Jason had fought against them before, against a group even larger and other monsters as well, but their charge that copied an army sure was something. They didn't fear death at all, even though Jason was stronger than them in many aspects. Was that despair or simply discipline? Either way, it didn't matter; they wanted Jason killed.

Jason pointed his hands at the enemies and then bombarded those five meters away from him. From that distance, they didn't have time to dodge and react, so the arrows easily pierced their eyes and reached their brains.

With each arrow fired, Jason also took a step backward to gain some distance, but soon, the enemies caught him, and while they were hiding behind their shields, they thrust their spears forward.

Jason felt a shiver ran down his spine when he punched the weapons with all his might. Still, he smirked when they contorted to the side. It wasn't much, but he had higher attack power. While the enemies' balance broke off, Jason used Mana Arrows on their faces and then jumped backward again to gain distance. While spinning in the air, he still fired two more arrows and claimed the lives of two other trolls.

"More of them are leaving their base…can't let them surround me," Jason thought while still smiling. "This much is fine… enjoying the fight while being cautious. No need to let the blood rush to my head."

That was probably the safest way to win the battle; it would take a while, but it was definitely the best and easiest way to win. Still, Jason felt a bit bothered by it. The enemies stopped charging at him since he was almost disappearing in the darkness, and they thought that he was leading them to some sort of trap.

"Eh, I really don't need to be that careful. Remember, you need to take a few hits and see if you can upgrade your bloodline, Jason," Jason muttered to himself as he walked toward the enemies. Also, in this kind of situation, it is better to show the enemies who is the boss."
