"If I absorb the System entirely, will that put me in the Third Boundary?" Vol said.

"Oh, I wouldn't think so," Pandora cackled. "The System is not so weak as that. I would suppose that in integrating all the System has to offer, and making it your own, you would be commanding divinity yourself – you would at least have to pass through the Sixth Boundary to do that."

"How do I do—" Vol started to ask, but Pandora held up a finger.

"Little one, shush, I do not deal in straight lines. As a son of the Goddess of Chaos, you shall learn not to deal in straight lines either," Pandora said. "The Sixth Boundary, the mastery of the System is a long road away. But tonight, we shall begin simply, by integrating the gifts that her majesty has given you."
