Chapter 51: How Dare She Calls My Husband a Lame Man

"Sally, why are you here?"

Hearing Fred's startled tone, Layla stopped eating and looked up to see Sally coming in with Abigail, the usual pretentious smile on her face.

The latter even put on an act as she gasped in surprise, saying, "I came with Abigail to have lunch. I didn't expect that you two would be here too!"

Meanwhile, Abigail played along and chimed in with a blaming tone, "Master Fred, why did you ditch your girlfriend to hang out with another girl? Much less a vulgar hooligan like her?"

As she deliberately spoke loudly, the diners around them turned to look in their direction. Since the restaurant was located near the campus, most of the people present were students from JCity University. Thus, they all peered at Layla while whispering to each other. 

However, the latter paid no mind to Abigail's words nor the prying eyes as she was enjoying her meal.

"Abigail, don't say that. Fred is not that kind of person!"
