OPERATION EXPLORE THE TRAPDOOR

I glanced through the window as they left and as they were out of sight I quickly opened the rug and started OPERATION EXPLORE THE TRAPDOOR.

"I don't understand it was here"

To my surprise those cutouts weren't there anymore, are my eye and mind playing tricks on me again?

"I don't understand it was right here, come to think of it, I am not sure I saw it the first time I opened it up"

"This lock, there is only one answer to this, it has to be a magical lock" I raised my head in belief "I hope I am right Angel, I don't know much about these things"

"I should just do the chores before Amelie and Jonah gets back"

I started cleaning the house and doing all chores but with bandages all over it was kind of hard but I still could get the job done. I was done with the downstairs rooms and I moved upstairs I cleaned my room and it was time for Amelie's and Jonah's rooms.

"wait, I should have thought of this first, why don't I think straight, if Jonah and Amelie could get inside their trapdoor it means there is a key and it could only be in one place," I said that facing their room.

I tried opening the door but it didn't open and then I noticed the door was even locked and there was no chance of me getting in. The broom I was holding fell down the stairs, their room is very close to the stairs.

I had to walk down the stairs to take it and that's when the thought came "UNLESS!! Yes, I have got it!! All I have to do is to get in when they are around, but I will have to be too careful and sneaky, the problem is doing it when they will be around, why did they have to make things hard for me".

All these thoughts made my head hurt and ache and maybe the best thing to do right now is to lie down and rest my head which I did as I ascended into my room.

Everything would have been okay if an angel were here, out of everything why is it you I had to lose, I would have been fine with just one eye.

"Angel just make a way through mysteries like this, just like that of Laura, she went to the library to... the library, THE LIBRARY!!, Why didn't I think of you on time".

"A library will surely have a lot of knowledge concerning that disappearing cutouts below that trap door, all I have to do is find one, here in this village community".

Quickly, I stood up to get ready for the search, There was a mirror in my room and when I checked myself out, I was just realizing that I had been wearing a new set of clothes, I was so cut up in all these mysteries that I forgot I didn't come here with cloths, these could only mean, Amelie and Jonah has been changing my clothes while I was unconscious, could I be mistaking about them, they have been sweet to me throughout and they even care for me at the verge of death.

I'm I right to doubt them, their only flaw is that basement is "exactly for people so kind and nice what could they be hiding that they can't tell me? "What am I saying I haven't even stayed with them so long for them to trust me"?

[Jonah] "She is still there?"

I remembered their expression from when they thought I had gotten into the room or ran away." No, that is too suspicious and he said she is still there, I can't stop now if I think its Angel that is there".

I hurried my way downstairs" oh! Thank goodness I came downstairs on time, I forgot to cover up the trapdoor room well again". I covered it well like it should have been and I headed out but before heading out I was scared because of my last experience.

[Mrs. Teresa] "People will come but none will help you, I assure you that"

"But I live with Jonah and Amelie now, they found me lying on the ground in the woods at the point of death and they cared for me"

[Teresa]*claps*"how long did it take you to think of that, you can fool me with your cheap lies). °

Gosh, thinking of that brought back memories I would not even wish for my enemies.

"Maybe I should just get back, I am not sure I can handle that kind of pain again (I hit myself in the face) NO!! This is for Angel, I will not abandon you in a situation like this"

° ([Jonah]"yeah we should let him rest, so he can be ready for the great good news we will tell him in the morning ".

[Amelie]"now we know where Angel is, he will be delightful and very happy") °

I overheard Amelie and Jonah saying they have found Angel, what am I doing? if Angel is found, what is my business with the trapdoor room is, I can't wait to meet her, and I will ask them when they are back"

I was so happy, I started heading back upstairs, my mind didn't even go there, I was obsessed with that trapdoor room but now I have no reason to...°([Jonah]"She is still there?").°

I hurried outside with no fear in me in search of a Library.

*meanwhile*

In the building below the trapdoor room.

I made it outside and didn't see anyone around, maybe it was because of the one taking young girls around the neighborhood.

Then the unexpected happened.

"Anon"

Someone called me from behind, that was a very scary familiar voice

"Anon, please come here"

I turned my back too fast but never expected to be left in the lurch, of course it had to be the one I didn't want to see at all, it was Teresa.
