"What did you say?" I asked Angel.
"What do you mean? I didn't say anything."
"Oh, really? I thought I heard something."
"Hmmm, okay," Angel replied.
voices
"Okay, this time I'm sure you said something!"
"No, I didn't! Is everything fine with you?" she asked.
But I heard something again. "Yes, everything is fine. It must just be my imag—" MORE VOICES AT A HIGHER PITCH
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!! MY EAR!"
Angel, alarmed, shouted, "WHAT'S WRONG, ANON!?"
The pain was unbearable—like rocks pounding inside my head. I grabbed it with both hands and fell to the ground. All I could think was, why do I have to be the one with nearly a billion death experiences?
Gradually, the voices in my head began to fade, and I regained some control.
"I'm taking you to the nurse's bay," Angel insisted, but I didn't want to go.
With less pain, I replied, "No, I'm fine. No need for that," resisting her offer.
"No, I'm taking you there," she said firmly.
"Seriously, I'm fine, and besides, I can't take away your chance of becoming SUPREME ENCHANTRESS again."
"Alright, since you insist," she sighed, helping me up as we headed to the library.
"Hmph, talk about two weirdos in a relationship," Felicia sneered.
"We aren't in a relationship!" Angel retorted.
"Leave her be, Angel. It's not like someone with shit for brains can understand what's happening around them."
"Ahh!! I hate you both!" Felicia screamed as she stomped away.
We both laughed hard and headed to the library.
....
CURRENTLY
"Alright, judging from how blissful you look, you must have gotten something nice. What could that be?"
I glanced at Felicia, who was staring spitefully at us, and smiled. "Oh yes, it's nice to me, but maybe normal to others. I got light magic. And, uh, this old grimoire... What is this? Word magic? What kind of magic is that?"
"I don't know, try asking the instructor," Angel suggested.
"Okay."
"Sir! Excuse me!" I called out. He turned, asking what the problem was. "I got this grimoire that says 'word magic,' but I don't understand how it works."
"Stop joking and get back in position," the instructor replied dismissively.
"I'm not lying. Take a look for yourself."
He took the grimoire from me, examining it. "Wow, you weren't lying. How is this possible?"
"Yeah, I told you so! Why did you think I was lying?"
He whispered as he handed the grimoire back, "What you have is also called the creation grimoire or the world grimoire. This is the first grimoire that existed, wielded by the creator himself."
"Is this what she meant by 'potentials'? Wow, that's so cool! So, does that make me a creator now?"
"No," he replied. "But you mustn't let anyone know you have this grimoire except the managerial board and the principal. Now go."
"Wait, one of my friends knows I have it."
"Then keep it between the two of you alone," he advised. "Don't let anyone see it, especially the other instructors."
I had more questions, but I decided to leave and ask the principal later.
"What did he say?" Angel asked.
"Wait, let's go somewhere quieter with fewer people," I replied.
She gave me an irritated look. "Why?"
I smiled. "Trust me, it's grimoire-related."
"Okay," she agreed, suggesting we head to the sickbay, which was usually empty. Luckily, Rose wasn't there.
I whispered everything the instructor told me, and Angel was shocked. "Wow, so this is the creation grimoire! No wonder those writings looked familiar," she whispered back.
"What do you mean?" I mumbled.
"I've read about the creation grimoire before. The writings around the edges mean something." (The writings read: Let undefined creation witness us, undefined Lucius together with Laura.)
I thought they were just designs. Thank goodness I hadn't said that out loud or I'd have sounded like a fool.
"Wait here, I'll be right back." Before I could ask where she was going, she dashed out of the room. I sat there trying to open the grimoire, but it wouldn't budge. Angel returned, this time carrying a book.
"Okay, I've got it," she said.
"Gotten what?" I asked.
"The book where I read about those writings."
"Alright, so what do they mean?"
She flipped through the pages. "It means, Let's make the creation and all things shall know Lucius and Laura."
"Wow, that sounds badass, but who are Lucius and Laura?" I asked.
Angel explained, "Lucius is the creator himself, according to the book. But I don't know who Laura is."
"Maybe his wife?" I suggested.
"No, I doubt it. Everyone knows his only wife is Creation, the mother of the Divine Siblings."
"I don't understand."
"Let me simplify it for you. Creation isn't a metaphor, she's a being, and she's his wife. She gave birth to the Divine Siblings: Death, Destiny, Duality, Dawn, and ishh... Seems like I have been slacking off these days, I can't remember the rest but this is general Lore everyone should know, The divine siblings are 7 and are the world's pillars, without them, simple Logic doesn't exist, balance wouldn't even be a word, I can't even wrap my head around that Anon. Creation is the reason we're still alive because she is life itself. If she's destroyed, All things will vanish."
"Wow... and I've met only two of the Divine Siblings."
Angel laughed. "Stop joking, no one's buying that."
"Well, you wouldn't understand," I muttered. She just ignored me.
"Okay, but who's this Laura?" Angel murmured.
"Are you sure you read it right? Let me see the book," I suggested. She handed it to me.
I read aloud: "Let's make the creation and all things shall know Lucius and Laura." As I finished, the grimoire began to glow, lighting up the entire room. We couldn't see anything for a while, and then the light dimmed, revealing a small girl with elf-like ears and ocean-blue eyes.
"Yawn... Where have you been, Master?" she asked in a melodic voice.
