Dream Paralysis Arc

"This can't be!! Yes, I know you are devious, but?!" She seemed to have fooled me, though she always showed her true intentions.

We were in shock at who came out. "Now it all makes sense," we both said in unison.

"I knew something was off about her," we both said again.

"She is the one that almost got people to burn me."

As I was speaking, right then, she vanished.

"Oh, she disappeared," I reacted.

"Now I know how she got in and out without a door," Angel said.

"Let's run before she gets back," Angel added.

"But where do we run to? We can't run away or anywhere; we are trapped here," I replied.

We changed positions from where we were.

"Now she is gone, can you at least explain things to me?" I insisted.

"Oh okay, you have demanded it too many times," Angel started explaining to me what happened to her when she arrived.

Meanwhile

[Amelie] "I should start cooking. Where's Anon? Let me ask him if he can join me in the kitchen today."

"That's a very good idea. Maybe I will join you too," Jonah responded.

"You head on. Let me get Anon from his room," Jonah suggested.

"Okay, yes, thanks. While you're doing that, I will check on Teresa." Jonah went to my room and didn't see me, but something caught his eye. It was the book I had during the day when it was raining heavily; they were the magical lock books.

As he was about to pick it up, another thing caught his eye again. It was the food I told them I ate and enjoyed. He picked up the book and hurried downstairs to where Amelie was. "She said she would be here. She isn't even here. She didn't even thank us. Do you think Amelie was worried?" Teresa was no longer in the bathroom.

"We will worry about things later. Where is Anon?"

"I just found out he didn't eat that food you cooked, and he has been researching magical locks."

For some reason, I could hear this conversation.

Moments later

"And that is all that happened until now," Angel stated.

"Jeez, you suffered. Mine was still filled with little enjoyment."

"You will tell me about yours later, but now we need to reason. Now I know why you spent additional days in the same world," she said.

"What do you mean, so you weren't joking?" I questioned.

"Why do you think I would lie to you in this moment we are in right now?"

"So she showed you her true self. The question is why?" Angel said, and I was confused.

"What do you mean? True self?"

"Tell me the first time you saw this lady."

"Mmmmm...(thinking) It was a day. I was following Amelie and Jonah..."

"So it is here and not at the school."

"I don't get it, what are you getting at?"

"It is all fake, Anon. I just realized the cough and burden on my throat have gone," she said.

"What do you mean by it's all fake?"

"Haven't you wondered why days passed by so fast, or didn't it occur to you?"

"Oh, that's true, but this is just confusing me more."

"I know why she didn't show me her real self and she did to you. It's because I saw her when she was casting the spell, and she knew if she exposed herself, I would know she was involved somehow."

"She cast a spell on us?!"

"Anon, can't you just reason for once?"

"Okay, what you are saying is that this very woman here cast a spell on us that is making this world not real or something."

"Yes, but no. You almost got it. Let me explain everything like I always do," she said.

"Hmmmmm, okay. I am all ears."

"Well, wait, are you with your grimoires?"

"No," I replied.

"Then I am right. If I am to guess right, you cast a teleportation spell that is not just a teleportation spell because it is a spell to get you out of danger, but right in the process—"

"Yes, right in the process I cast my spell. A DREAM PARALYSIS SPELL," Teresa was back.

"I always knew something was not right about you, no matter how many times you apologized."

"Well, you see, you little brats. Angel, I warned you of your demise because of this beast here."

"Why are you doing this?" Angel asked.

"Well, isn't it obvious? We want Anon."

"It is obvious you want him, but the big question is why?" Angel replied.

"Well, sweetheart, the thing about the weak-looking boy is, he wields tremendous power, a power almost higher than that of the likes of the SUPREME ENCHANTRESS. But you see, the thing is, Anon is very greedy, and we can't let him keep all those powers to himself."

"Hahaha, greedy... No, powerful... No, are you sure it's me you are speaking about, Teresa?"

"You may not know what I am talking about, but one thing I do know is that you wouldn't be uncharitable if you are alive and still talking nonsense."

"How can the Academy be so devious?" Angel was aggravated.

"Yes, the Academy is so devious, but who said I was or am from there?"

"Weren't you fighting as a mage guard or something?" I said.

"Don't be ludicrous, boy. Can the academy achieve potencies like mine? I was at the academy... yes. As a guard... no. To kill or waste you... DEFINITELY YES!!! HA-HA-HA-HA-HAA, now DIE!!!"

Teresa lunged forward with a menacing expression, ready to attack...
