My Irresistible Sugarplum

They say. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Yeah! That statement is so damn true, and aside from that, no one dies a virgin, because life fucks us all. *** Natasha Adam is a young orphan. She had to fend for herself and her younger sister. Life had been incredibly cruel to her, leaving her with no choice but to accept a contract marriage as the wife of Ace Douglas, a disabled Cold-hearted CEO. He's a multibillionaire, and everyone fears him because of his cruel personality. Natasha's contract states that she should not fall in love with her contracted husband... Because Ace's reason for marrying her was to prevent his parents from arranging blind dates for him. 'But what if she can't help her feelings?' 'Would her contracted husband sue her for breach of contract, or would he reciprocate his feelings for her?' **Excerpt** "Be my wife." A hypnotic deep voice declared. "Be my wife, and I promise to give you everything!" The voice echoed throughout the living room. Natasha has no idea where the voice is coming from, but she suspects the owners aren't far away. "Be my..." Before the owner of the voice complete his sentence. She cut him off. "Sure! So, can you fucking come out of your hiding place, and let's talk marriage stuff properly?" Natasha demanded loudly. ** Excerpt** "You are not permitted to speak to me, stare at me, or come anywhere near me." His cold voice echoed around the room. "But.... What makes you think I'd stare at you? Besides, you're not that handso..." My voice trailed off. I couldn't finish my statement because he fiercely gaze at me. I wasn't scared of him, but rather I'm hypnotized by him. "Are you deaf? Or did you forget what I said about not staring at me? Come on! Close your mouth because you're drooling." He declared, clearly frustrated. "Hahaha. Why won't I drool? Besides, you're sexy." I declared, before winking seductively. WSA THEME: ROMANCE

A while ago. I was freaking out about the fact that I might have done something tragic that is going to lead to the death of Ace.

Funny enough! I'm safe because Ace is messing around with me.

I revise the car and decided not to talk to him until we finally got to our destination.

Turning around to gaze at him. I frown. "Do you think that what you have just done is funny?" I question, staring at him intensely.

"I'm just trying to teach you that if anything goes wrong inside the meeting hall, you shouldn't fall for anyone." Ace replied as a slight smile was plastered on his pretty face.

I inhale deeply. Not wanting to voice out all my entire anger.

On getting to my destination, I step out of the car, and Ace also helps himself out.

The building where the meeting is to be held is very big and at the same time long.

Ace rolled his wheelchair, and we took the elevator.

"I'll advise you not to play tricks with your life again," I utter with complete seriousness.

"Can you lean closer to me?" He asked out of the blue.

I slightly arched my brows, but still, found myself leaning closer toward him.

At first, I had thought that he wanted to whisper something to my ear, but when his lips were a little bit close to my ear, Ace leaned closely, and then he planted a kiss on my cheek.

Yuck!

I didn't think twice but hit his stomach heavily.

"Ouch!" He winces in pain, placing his hand around his stomach.

"What the hell was that about?" I question, but too bad the elevator door suddenly opened.

"That is a little affection, from a husband to his wife." Ace utter shamelessly, while smirking devilishly.

He rode the wheelchair out of the elevator, while I remained dumbfounded, staring at his back while being speechless.

There is a door that is currently open, and I believe that's where Ace's meeting is expected to commence.

Just as I had expected, there were individuals all seated at the meeting hall, and I can't tell if they are all waiting for Ace.

He rode his wheelchair inside the meeting hall, and everyone became quiet.

It was as if a ghost had just walked past the room, due to the absolute decorum.

"Hmm Hmm!" He clears his throat.

The meeting hall has a very long table in the middle, and twelve individuals are seated on the right, and there are also twelve individuals seated on the left.

Ace is currently in the middle edge of the table, so I assume that he's the one who called for the meeting.

"Shall we?" He questions with a powerful voice.

From the look of things, I can tell that all the individuals present are all afraid of him.

An old man rose from his seat and started doing a presentation.

The presentation only lasted for two minutes when all of a sudden Ace stopped the man from speaking. "Are we launching a product for just old people? or are we launching a product for teenagers?" Ace question, staring at the man who seems to be in his late fifties with bloodshot eyes.

Ace seemed so angry and I even felt a cold chill all over my body.

The air conditioner and the cold aure coming from him didn't help a bit, and right now I feel like urinating on my trousers.

The meeting lasted for just one hour but it felt as if it was more than ten hours.

"Are you a beast?" I question while leaning close to his wheelchair as we make our way out.

Ace Ignores me, as he continues to roll his wheelchair in absolute silence. "I want to use the restroom." I declare, and without waiting for him to permit me, I turn around, and I excuse myself.

The Lady's restroom wasn't that hard to locate, and in no time I was done with my stuff.

"That disabled CEO is a monster." A lady who's currently watching her hand said, as she spoke to her friend who's beside her.

"He is!" Her friend replied, nodding her head slightly. "That's why he can never be with a guy." The lady added.

'A guy?' I question myself. Perhaps she made a mistake by saying the word 'Guy' instead of 'Girl'

"I bet he's going to remain single forever. Besides I pity any guy who's going to fall in love with a disabled cold CEO." The lady who had first spoken about Ace said.

Well. I'm getting confused because I'm not certain that they are referring to Ace.

"Hey. Are you talking about CEO Ace?" I ask, which was right before the Ladies were about to make their way towards the door.

"Yup. And I'll advise you to stop fantasizing about him because he's gay. Besides there are other handsome guys who are loving and sweet, so just a friendly advice... stay away from that Monster." She advised, and with that, she made her way out of the restroom.

The day has just begun and I'm getting dumbfounded as time passes by.

Making my way out of the restroom, I head straight to where I had parked Ace's car because I believe that he's currently waiting for me.

I made my way past him without glaring at him. "Hey!" He called out, trying to gain my attention.

"Natasha." Ace called out once more, but I decided that it would be best to ignore him.

He opened the car door and rode his wheelchair inside the car. "So I'm invisible to you right?" He questioned me, but I still decided to ignore him.

"It's Okay. Besides, I always wish on having a superpower." He added, which made me chuckle, as I accelerated the car engine.

I'm not mad that he's gay, because him being gay...  will make things more easier for me.

I'm mad about what he did earlier, which was when he pretended to be dead right in front of me.

"Ace. Do you know that my heart is broken?" I question, focusing my gaze on the road.

"I don't care." He replied with a flat voice.

"So you don't know what's worse than a breakup?" I question, staring at him in the rival mirror.

"What's worse?" He asked, and it was obvious that he wasn't aware of the answer.

"Wearing a good outfit, without being able to take pictures." I declare, sounding displeased.

"You should be happy. Beside your outfit is a rag." He insulted, before staring outside the window.
