Can I ask a question.

I pulled off the useless clothes and after handing them over, I was now left with just my short singlet, my tight, and my medicated glasses.

All eyes in the restaurant were all on me, but I didn't care a bit.

Not that I'm not mad for the fact that I quit my job, but because I also made people stare at my younger sister with pity.

Yeah! I know that they all see me as a crazy psychopath.

Grabbing the hands of Bellatrix, I made my way towards the door, but then the voice of someone caught me off guard.

"Natasha." Someone called me from behind.

Like a snail, I slowly turned around and I saw the person who I least expected.

It was Ace and Abe and they are currently sitting at the front table, staring at me in dismay.

"Good evening." I greeted them, and my baby sister followed behind in greeting.

"I can see your work here," Abe said coldly while staring at the entire surrounding with a displeasing look written all over his face.

If he doesn't like this restaurant then what the hell is he doing here?

"I used to work here before. Anyway.... can I help you?" I asked, with my brows slightly arched.

"No, you may go," Abe said, before shifting his gaze back to the menu.

I scuffed, before turning around to make my way out of the restaurant.

"Natasha." Ace called me.

He had been quiet all through the time that his brother had been talking to me, so what the hell does he want?

I slowly turn around and gaze at him with brows slightly arched. "What's it?" I asked him while trying to be polite.

I'm aware that he's my boyfriend..... perhaps husband on paper, but I don't want him to start acting like a... I won't use bad words at him.

He pulled off his suit and handed it over to me.

"Your body is exposed." He stated.

I have literally forgotten about the fact that I'm slightly naked.

I took the suit from him, and quickly put it on.

Gush! The suit smells nice. So intoxicating, that I have the urge to lean towards the fabric and sniff it.

"Thanks." I appreciated him.

"Can you cook?" That was the next word that came out of his mouth.

"Yes, I can."

"Abe provided a car to come and pick her up so that she would be able to prepare lunch for us." Ace said, and with that, he rolled his wheelchair out of the restaurant.

I frown. Does he take me for a fool or a cook?

I squatted down and carried my younger sister on my back, before making my way toward Ace.

"I can't cook for you okay. My younger sister is starving so I need to prepare something for her, so perhaps next time." I started while trying to behave politely.

"But you would be preparing lunch for all of us." He tried to reason.

I wanted to decline once more but damn those eyes.

I find myself staring at his eyes, like a broken piece of toy. "Are you in?" He asked, and just like a spell I nodded my head.

Seriously! I need to visit the doctor to check up on me because I had always believed myself not to be straight.

"Mama! Are you going to go to his house?" My baby sister asked, with her cute tiny little voice which brought me back to reality.

Yeah! Bellatrix loves calling me Mama whenever she feels like it, she occasionally addresses me as her sister, but calls me her Mom.

"She's your daughter?" Ace asked, sounding surprised as his mouth became slightly hung open.

I rolled my eyes in disgust.

So what? I'm already old enough to give birth to a kid of Bellatrix's age, so it just seems normal.

I don't want to break my little sister's heart by telling him that she's just my sister, so I find myself nodding my head once again.

"Yes. She's my daughter." I replied, with a smile on his face.

Seriously. Why does teasing him who's completely a stranger to me become enjoyable.

"Did.... does Abe know about this?" He stuttered.

'Did he seriously buy my cheap lie?'

"I have no idea about that," I replied sincerely because the first time I met Abe was at the church, so I haven't communicated with him much… or if I did, I have totally forgotten.

He sniffed his nose, and then he brought out his phone to type something on it.

"You are hiding something from me." My sister whispered within my ear.

I swallow my saliva hard, not knowing how I'm going to start explaining things to her. "Is he the friend you said you went to visit this afternoon?" She asked once more, and I finally decided to give her some little explanation.

"Ace is my boyfriend for now, and that guy, who's currently making his way out of the restaurant, is known as Abe, and he's Ace's brother," I explain with a low voice to my sister, and she nods her head in understanding.

"So you all of a sudden have a boyfriend?" She asked, and her question was out of curiosity.

"Well! You can say that for now." I mumbled, before putting her on the floor, so that I could see her face properly. "We would have lunch at their house today, and after that our lives would get back to normal," I reassured her.

She breathed out in frustration. "I hope so." She mumbled, and I knew for sure that her mind wasn't settled.

When Abe finally made his way towards where I and his brother had been standing, he helped Ace to get inside the car and then he declared that I should also get inside the car. "Get inside the car." Abe declared while helping me to open the back seat.

This is more like a gentleman.

My younger sister and I got inside the car, and it drove off.

"How are you?" Ace asked my younger sister while staring at her through the rival mirror.

"I'm good sir." She replied while smiling, as she stared at him with her big brown eyes.

Ace nodded his head, and continued to gaze outside.

It's obvious that he's trying to make the atmosphere light a little bit, and so far..... it isn't working.

When the car finally stopped at his compound, Abe like usual helped Ace to get down from his car before helping him out by opening the car door.

"Can I ask a question?" My baby sister suddenly mutters out all of a sudden.

"Sure! Go ahead." Abe said as he turned around to stare at the little one.

"Not you. I mean him." Bellatrix said as she pointed at Ace who's currently rolling his wheelchair on his own.

"Go ahead."Ace said, without turning around to stare at her.

"What did you see in my Mama that made you interested in her?" Bellatrix asked, which caught everyone off guard.
