My Intergalactic Soulmate

[WARNING: Violence and gore] “Did I just kill her?” Alexis was lying on the ground with wounds and bruises all over her. And to add to that she appeared to be lifeless. But slowly a soft crackling sound was heard. Alexis’s body was glowing in azure color. It seemed as if she was on fire. “No, no, no… you can’t disappear. Please don’t disappear.” But rather than disappearing, Alexis was now levitating in the air. Her whole body was lit in the azure fire. Her emerald eyes were now glowing like green balls of fire. Her dark ginger hair was floating aggressively behind her. She looked fearsome and at the same time also looked captivating. The fire around her was starting to engulf her. And after a while, an energy blast left her body. The blast was so powerful that the wall and structures around her were turned to mist. Preparing for the Worse

In the end, Alexis took a deep breath in and called Vorian. She was ready to hear his scolding if he was still angry with her.

She was a little taken aback when Vorian instantly picked up her phone call. "Alexis! Where are you? I have been trying your phone for a while ago but I couldn't connect."

Alexis smiled and replied, "I was calling uncle Siliah and after that, I called mom and dad. And umm… I am here in the medical bay in isolation. And where are you? Still out in the sky or has everyone dispersed by now?"

"We are back inside the base already. But the military is still here. They have taken the charge of staying guard for the next 48 hours." Vorian briefed Alexis about the situation outside.

Alexis nodded her head and said more to herself, "So that means they anticipate that Celine will be attacked again… that is good to hear. At least they will be prepared to face the enemy, it won't be another surprise attack."
