Defensive boss

Suzy was in the hospital later that night the doctor told her if she couldn't pay for her mother surgery soon; she might end up losing her mother

She couldn't bear the pain, it was too much on her but then her phone rang it was jang asking her to come over his boss wants to talk to her

"But it is already late"

"Am sorry but your attention is needed here"

Taehyung was staring at suzy as she came in looking so sad and miserable, she must have been crying he thought

"Boss"

"Gongyu, get the car key" he order his driver

They arrived at the hotel where she messed up last night, she stare at taehyung with a questioning look as he smirks

"What are we doing here?"

"Am here to have fun" he said as they enter the elevator

Suzy was furious when she saw kai, he was smiling at her and then sungjae who was waving at her with a smile plastered on his face, she smiled back as she glare at kai.

Taehyung took his spot while the waitress came to serve them, taehyung ask the waitress to give suzy his drink as he ordered her to serve him.

She noticed taehyung was never with a woman, he is unlike his friends instead he was busy with his phone as usual, she wonder why he was mingling with a jerk like kai; Eun byul came in and was jealous seeing suzy beside taehyung as he focus on the drink she was serving, she work so hard to get his attention but to no avail

She wanted to teach suzy a lesson as she intentionally spill the drink she was holding on her head down to her body

"Oh my God, suzy am so sorry it wasn't intentional" she pleaded

"It's okay"

"Let me serve him while you go and clean up" she offered

"You bitch, you intentionally spill the drink on her in other to serve me, you will pay for embarrassing my slave" he said in anger

Nam gil was trembling as he was ordered by taehyung to fire eun byul, he didnt hesitate as he pay her off, suzy couldn't say a word as she stood there looking so embarrassed

She was given a room where she took her bath and change into a bathrobe, she was waiting for her clothes to dry when she heard a knock at the door, she thought it was jang, she open the door and find kai smiling at her, she wanted to close the door but he push it open as he entered before slamming the door behind him

"What are you doing here?" she said nervously as she took a few step back

"What else my lady, you look irresistible right now"

He grab her arm but she pushed him away as she ran towards the door; she open the door and was running when she bump into taehyung and jang who seems to be heading towards her room

She held taehyung's hand in fear, he stare at her with a questioning look

He saw kai coming out of the room as he screamed her name telling her she won't be able to escape him; he was shocked to see taehyung and suzy who was hiding behind him, he could see the anger in taehyung's eyes as he stare at him as if he was ready to kill him

"It's a misunderstanding V"

"Misunderstanding you say?" he said as he held her hands tightly while dragging her to where kai was standing

"I thought it was my room, look stop all this and don't make it a big deal cause of this maid, afterall we are friends V"

He don't know why he felt so sad when kai utter the statement, he stare at suzy who was looking very sad and yet so beautiful and tempting, he felt something stir up within him, he angrily slap kai

Suzy and jang were shocked, kai stare at his friend in awe, taehyung has never hit any of them before but he just did

"You slap me because of her?"

Taehyung didn't say a word as he drag suzy with him to his room

"You can take her room" he said to jang while slamming the door without letting him protest, suzy gently pull her hand away from him as she began to tremble in fear

"You should stay here tonight" he said hoarsely

"Uhh, first I want to thank you for saving me but am sorry I can't spend the night in your room"

He turn and stare at her in awe; it was the first time a woman was rejecting his offer and charm, he move close to her as she kept backing away until she was stuck between him and the wall, he gently push a strand of her hair

"You look beautiful but not enough to get my attention, it either you stay here where you are safe or go out there and be devour by the wolves"

"Cant I just go home? I have a comfortable house which is much safer for me"

He ignore her as he went into the bathroom, she knew he was having his bath when she heard the water sound, she was nervous as she took her phone and realized she had missed a call from changwook, she decide to call him before taehyung would come out of the shower

"Oppa"

"Where are you? Am so worried about you"

"Am sorry, am at work, I will see you tomorrow oppa" she said as she hung up

"Are you sure you are alright?" he said worriedly

"Am fine, why are you so worried about me?"

"Be…cause uhhhh" he began to stammer

"Goodnight oppa" she said while giggling as she hung up

She turns around with a smile on her face, only to find taehyung staring at her with a serious look, he was wearing the same bathrobe as hers

"I wonder how your darling boyfriend is gonna feel when he finds out that you slept in the same room with a handsome rich guy in a hotel" he said in disgust as she unconsciously held her robe tighter around her, trying to cover her neck which made him smirk knowing she was scared of him

"First I am not sleeping in the same room as you, am sleeping right here on the couch in the living room so that means we are sleeping in a separate room and secondly I have no boyfriend" she said boldly

He was staring at her in awe as he scoffed before heading to the bedroom, he ordered for their meal which they both eat separately

Suzy find the couch more comfortable than her bed as she slept peacefully not knowing her phone was ringing in the bedroom where she left it, taehyung was angry; he thought it must have been the guy she spoke to earlier he was taken aback when he saw the caller id

He wondered why a doctor will be calling her at this time, he picked the call out of curiosity but regretted it, he couldn't sleep that night as he went to the sitting room and stare at the beauty who was sleeping peacefully

He called jang and ask him to find out everything about suzy and get back to him by 7am, he gently caress her hair but suddenly jerk away as she kept mumbling something in her sleep, he laughed at her cuteness as he carefully covered her with a blanket.

He wonder where she found the t-shirt she was wearing, He knew she was scared that he might touch her that was why she was dress which made him smile
