I

The legend of the curse of the white wolf is well-known folklore amongst elderly people in our village. The sacrifice of a young man for his beloved is what amazes me for centuries. I can still remember that I always ask my grandmother to retell his story to me or my friends.

As I grew older so was the legend, kids from our village stop asking her for they believe that the legend is not true. But for those people who witnessed the sacrifice, still believe that the white wolf is still out there.

Years passed and I was completely adult, I went back to our village from the city to visit my dead grandmother. She died of old age and no other complications so that's why she died peacefully in her bed.

As walked through the cemetery and sang my favorite song, I noticed a tall man standing over my grandma's grave.

Out of fear of he could be a bad person, I hid behind a tree a few meters away from her grave. I looked at my phone for a few seconds and when I looked back, he disappears.

I looked around and the man is truly no longer there so I proceeded on visiting my grandmother. I prayed quietly and peacefully for my grandmother's soul.

After I prayed, I looked at the sky like I usually do when I noticed the man looking at me from above.

I screamed in shock and turned away from him. He followed me with his gaze while I wondered if I would run or pray for someone to come and help me. Suddenly his neck stretched and I ran in panic. I stopped running when I saw him in front of me.

"Who are you?" I shouted at him. I could hear the strength of my heartbeat in extreme nervousness as I caught my breath. "Answer me," I shouted at him. "What do you need from me?" I added. He opened his mouth and uttered words that I could not understand.

I closed my eyes and pray silently and asks for forgiveness for the sins I have committed. When I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder, when I opened my eyes, there he was in front of me.

My knees were shaking and I felt my body give up as I remembered what my grandmother always told me every time I had a bad dream.

"Save me, O mighty wolf.

Save me from this problem.

Lend me your power.

Give me a chance to serve on your throne. "

These words were translated into English that well memorized by old spiritists in the Philippines. I mention it over and over again but nothing seems to happen.

But the man just seems to be getting stronger and powerful.

I just close my eyes when I feel the seemingly sharp cry of the man. I was shocked and surprised by what I heard.

I opened my eyes and witnessed white smoke surrounds my grandma's grave. Repeating the words I have mentioned earlier as if a group of spiritists memorizes it together.

Moments later, I saw a pale young man behind the white smoke. Suddenly the man moved from where he stands to the young man's left hand and crushed him as if he were folding a piece of paper.

After the man disappeared, the sky suddenly brightened and I heard the birds chirping again. I looked at the place where the man had saved me but I saw nothing.

I went home sweaty and could not speak to what I saw. That night, I never lost sight of the man's appearance.

White ears like the ears of a dog, golden eyes, long and white hair, and the posture were like of a prince.

He looks handsome and athletic as if he is a character in the legend that my grandmother used to tell.

I still remember the words my grandmother uttered when I was a child, words that I forgot, and are now coming back to my memory.

Unimaginable terms that can happen in real life. Words that started in a legend and are now realized in real life.

"By the seventh sunset on the east,

A baby will be born again

By the tenth ascension of Mother Moon

The white wolf will rise again. "

O_____O
