Chapter 21

As soon as the performance was over I rushed back stage after a group hug with the members. Running around, lika a maniac, my eyes begged for her sight. I felt like a kid, who came home from school and wanted to tell his mom all about it so badly.

Panting, I finally spotted her. There she was standing next to issabell. She was wearing a loose baggy, pastel pink knitted sweater with  white denim shorts and white sketches, her hair flying around elegantly as ever. Her little figure laughed at something the tour guide told her and she pulled at her oversized sleaves which were obviously too big for her.

I ran up to her, smiling ear to ear and hugged her. Not thinking about how many people had their eyes fixed at us.

I held her tight,  showing her all of my emotions. She stumbled back a bit at the sudden impact but then soon regained her balance. I lifted her feet off the ground, my head finding its way into the crook of her neck, I smiled.

"I missed you", I whispered breathing heavily, closing my eyes loosing myself to her slowly.

She wrapped her arms around me, and let me hug her. If only, time could stop right now. I wanted to live in this moment forever. I wanted to stay in her warm arms forever...

Though the world couldn't let me in peace. Soon I was seperateed from the embrace of my comfort person. After changing back into my clothes, miss maple and the rest of us went out to have dinner and alcohol to celebrate the successful night.

Due to various reasons, including our popularity and our agency's overprotectiveness, the only place we were safe to eat and hangout was issabell's office, conference room.  It was past working hours so we had the whole building to ourselves. Though it felt hilarious, eating fried chicken and beer in such a professional and chic atmosphere.

I just couldn't take my eyes off the beauty next to me. She caught me staring a few times and each time I'd look away from her due to my cowardness.

Maple's pov:

An hour passed by, and I still had the clip of Tae running to me and hugging me on replay in my mind.

The way his warm breath fanned against my neck. The way his tall figure leaned on me like there was no tommorow. The way his grip around my waist  tightened slowly and softly. How the curve of his  cold lips felt on my neck. How he wrinkled his eyes in anticipation.

AAAAaaaahh

If only

If only I could live in that moment forever.

A deep blush took over my cheeks when I felt him staring at me throughout dinner. His eyes were literally flirting with me.

After two cans of beer, even my own self could tell that I was drunk. My alcohol tolerance had always failed me,  but I don't know why, I chugged down two cans of beer.

My head hurt, and my body felt numb. Resting my head down on the warnished table, goosebumps covered my body, due to its cold surface. 

Jin oppa was telling issabell about his favorite spots during his stay here in Canada. Lee Hyun was scrolling through his phone as always, commenting on Jin oppas thoughts every few seconds. Tae was sitting to my left, his chair facing me. His eyes were fixed on the ceiling, as he stared into space.

I stared at him, for what seemed like days. Somewhere in that duration, tae's eyes  shifted to me from the ceiling.

No words were said. No physical touch happened. But still it felt like  we shared each other's burdens in those moments .

"how about some truth and dare guys??", Issy said.

"I am down", Jin oppa said.

"me too", Lee Hyun said

"me three", the dead Tae Jun also called out, at last ending our stare match.

"may?", Issy called me.

"uhh yeahhh sureee"

"may, are you drunk?"

"Maybeee", I said spinning my chair like a kid.

I could see Tae smile at me, so I stopped, embarrassed.

Tae Jun's pov:

"maybeeeeee", she said spinning her chair around. Her hands were in the air and she squealed in the most adorable way.

'Kyopta'

As soon as she saw me smiling, her grin dropped and she pouted. Her rosy cheeks made her look ethereal. She had me dazing in just one look. Aishhhh this girl.

"okay so I'll go first, truth or dare, Hyun? ", issabell asked.

"truth"

She paused and thought about her question and then asked.

"Lee Hyun.... Do you have a secret girlfriend?"
