Old Taoist's Idle Means, Heaven's Past, Junior Alchemist's First Pill [2in1]

Nana returned after giving him two big black cases.

It seems, Ratu Arum already prepared a few herbs for his use. He sends her a message in the last night at 22.00 PM. But, she was able to procure the needed herbs right in the morning.

Is he underestimate her family power? No, he didn't underestimate them. But he is underestimating the extend capabilities of the treasured Princess of Caruban Saint Palace.

"She comes so early today, but... Why did she always look shy when coming here? Either way, let's make this finished earlier."

He drags in two suitcases inside before took it into the storage ring.

Today is a holy day, oops... A holiday I mean. So, I have a lot of idle time to waste. Yawn~

Morning's plan; sleep for the second times.

Daytime's plan; lunch and sleep for third times.

Afternoon's plan; teatime and sleep for fourth times.

Ones could see; a boy lazily leaned toward the bed and fell asleep in seconds.

Old Taoist checked the data of that boy again.

He is a fast learner, smart enough, imaginative and also good natured. But, he is a lazybone, passive troublemaker, a bit idiots and act foolishly from time to time. He has a balanced characteristic, he would revert back to his lazy nature after he is done with his matters. Not only that, his luck and fate encounter is quite high to boot.

"Hohoho. What a handy statistic he had here..." He looked at his fate encounter. "Furthermore, this hidden cave that he found out isn't your ordinary Groto Heaven nor a Blessed Land. Who would have thought something like That would appear in the isolated realm?"

Old Taoist grinned as he says, "Someone able to hide an ancient relic for hundreds of years after his disappearance. Um... Surely, they shouldn't be an ordinary Saints Realm being. The so called Nine Saints, they should be in late stage of mortal shedding step."

He went out the old hut and looking at cracked sky.

"This isn't the-world-saving story, nor evil subjugating mission. You aren't MC materials, with that lazy nature of yours. But, you also weren't a chess piece of the God. You only need to walk on that Idle path of yours..."

There is a lamenting expression written on his old face.

"Brat, you need to walk faster on your path and come here to change the atmosphere of the Heavens with that idle personality of yours. Maybe, with your presence, the Chosen One or so called MC would be able to finish his or her mission with a good ending."

Old Taoist's eyes seem to be looking at an abyss as he says, "The Ancient One and Three Purities have already surrendered at world's fate. Heavenly Emperor still trying to nurture youngling with his institution. Holy Faction couldn't put their hands on and called it Judgment Day instead. Western Paradise also restrained by their own doctrine. This old bone of mine could only act as Balance Keeper, the Last Guardian of Heaven."

After the incident at the end of pervious era. The pierced Heaven boundary still leaves a crack as if to prove the prowess of that Godly Being who pierce the heaven to ascend toward his divinity.

Right, after the heaven boundary got pierced, an old hut suddenly appears in the vicinity. All Peak Experts in that era worked together to mend the hole, unfortunately, they attempt still leaving a crack within the boundary.

Every century or so, a Void Gate would be opened under that crack. It would lead to the Hidden Mystic Realm that filled with opportunities and dangers. Afterward, the Peak Experts would work together to seal the Void Gate as to not influenced the cracked boundary.

Actually, the reason behind it was more than that, and the only one who knows about it at the earliest time was the owner of that old hut, the Old Taoist. As of now, after a few cycles of event, there is an insider circle who knows the story behind it. Like Heavenly Emperor who would come every now and then, is the second batch of the said. Because, nearly all the first batch already went off to the other shore.

The one who could save the Heaven only the Chosen One, who has Destiny lead them.

Harshly speaking, this Old Taoist is only a Gate Keeper of Heaven boundary. So, he didn't even have a chance to play a role in this board. At most, he would stand as the Last Guardian, when something threatened balance under the Heavens' Boundary.

As long as the Chosen One completed his mission, then the balance under the boundary would be assured forever. Which means, Old Taoist wouldn't need to act himself.

Then, before long, he would be freed from this 'security' job and go back to farming leisurely in the God Realm.

There are myriad realms in the whole universe. No, it might be wrong phrase, it should be 'There was a myriad universe in the whole world. But, there is only one Heavenly Realm in these universes.'

Heavenly Realms are filled with many planes with spherical shape and above them in the most center and highest plane was Great Heaven Domain with five great continental territories; Central Heaven, South Heaven, East Heaven, North Heaven and West Heaven. Great Heaven Domain isn't spherical but flat land with Demonic Realm as a neighbor and Hell Domain as the reverse side of the land.

A long era ago, before Heavenly Realms completed like that.

Every living being is striving to live the longest and the fullest in their one lifetime. Human, Demon, Beast or even Immortal. Each one of them desires to live in eternity of time with everything they want.

To achieve it, a Human race cultivates their body into immortality. Demon race devours everything that could increase their power. The Beast race gaining a spiritual wisdom and founded a feudalism within their ranks. Immortals fighting each others to gain a supremacy above the other party.

Who knows, their every movement is within a grasp of the Higher Beings. They called themselves Divine Race.

Different from local god like Earthen God who control the every living thing within their own territory. These Race claimed to be the Ruler of the Heavenly Realms.

One day, a Great Heavens' War took place in the center of the Heavenly Realms. That war giving a rise to many Great Beings who has a power nearly on par with those so called Higher Beings.

One of them is the Great Ancestor Jun who teaches the way of Tao. Another great name like Shakyamuni the Buddha who enlightened to Buddhahood, one of his teachings is Zen schools that known all over the world. Goddess Nuwa who creating a new Human Race in Lower Realm—maybe in some Cultivation World. Great Ancestor Jun's disciples Three Pure Ones. There is also a Great Heaven's government founded in the last era of that war, Heavenly Court who leads by Jade Emperor as the Heavenly Emperor of the Court who embraces all teachings under them. Etc.

When these Great Beings and other more emerge in the Heavenly Realm. Divine Race could only retreat from Heaven, and return to their own realm. Who knows, their retreat is actually the repulsion of the Heavenly Realms itself.

Right, when the Great Heavens' War near its conclusion, the world law of Heavenly Realms was in a mess.

Fortunately, there is a law enlightened by those great beings. There is Myriad of Dao, Samsara, Creation of Human, Destruction of Law, Ruler of Heaven, Demonic Force, Spiritual Wisdom, etc. Those become a new world law and fortified and perfecting the Heavenly Realms.

Like they say, there would be no rebirth before destruction of the old. And it could be said, Divine Race rejected by Heaven's Will.

Then, the 'leftover' of Divine Race is actually a winged person called Angel Race. They become the Third Biggest Faction in the Heavenly Realms other than Heavenly Court and Western Paradise. While the Demon Race, Asura Race and newly born Devil Race lives in their Demonic Realm that separate from the Heavens with a great barrier in the most Northern of Heaven.

As for Beast Race, they founded the Beast God Kingdom in the East Heaven with Creation Forest that founded by Elves Race and Black Stone Mountain founded by Dwarves Race as their neighbor. Beside the Holy Land of Angel Race, there are many new races in North Heaven too, like Merman Race and Dragon Race in Northern Heaven Sea.

Southern Heaven connected to Human World in Lower Realm so there is very much filled with the Human Race. While West Heaven is mostly covered in the desert plain except the area near Western Paradise.

Central Heaven and South Heaven mostly under Heavenly Court jurisdiction, like Dragon Gate in the East Sea near East Heaven.

As for Immortals there is no definitive of difference between Human who ascend to Immortality and natural-born Immortal. Because, Heaven's Will already perfected its world law after that war, there were no more natural born Immortals ever again.

That is why, every Lower Realm under Heavenly Realms' dimension would be condemned when they were trying to cultivate their spirits and body. Everyone now days would call it "Heavenly Tribulation". But, as long as they could cultivating till they gain Immortality stage, they could ascend to the Heaven.

While, the difference in Heaven, when ones reach Immortal stage only would the Heavenly Tribulation come down strike them.

With this in mind, Cultivator could find there is a restriction of law in the complete world. The lower the world realm, the stricter the restriction of law in cultivation like tribulation comes in early stage. The higher the world realm, the loosen restriction. And the loosen restriction here, means the loosen the bottleneck in cultivation.

Some day in that fated day, around 10.000 years after the departure of Divine Race. An unknown Hidden Expert who reaches Peak of Half God Realm come to the tallest Peak in Heaven, High Heaven Mountain Range at the intersection of Central Heaven, East Heaven and North Heaven.

High Heaven Mountain Range is a desolate place in the first place, no one could live in the harsh environment there as there is only mountain rocks and stone with nearly no creature. While the Peak of the Mountain Range already much higher place than Heavenly Court's main palace.

That day, the Hidden Expert, Ancestor Jun and Old Taoist start a stares game between them. They stared each other without blinking for a very long time.

In the next weeks, others force could see the Mountain Range was a lot lower than before. If before hand, only Immortal King stage above could placed their foot here, then right now, even Golden Immortal could barely fly around. Leaving only the highest peak that known as Heaven Piercing Peak in the future alone. Of course they only found out a few months after that.

As at this time, the Hidden Expert of Peak Half God is already meditating in this peak. While Old Taoist tends the wounded Ancestor Jun. After conditioning himself, that Hidden Expert who has already cultivated for a few dozen of eons would be determining his way. If the hypothetical he found is true, then he would break through his cultivation and reach the True God stage as he ascend to Divine Realm.

Right, what he wanted to proof is just a simple hypothesis. If the your realm breaks the limit of the world realm, the world will would reject you out to the higher dimension. Like in Lower Realm, when you reach the peak of the Great Ascension stage, another breakthrough would send you ascend to Heavenly Realms. But, in Heaven, you could break through to the Immortal stage like you breakthrough to the Great Ascension stage.

Isn't it lowering the difficulty in breaking your bottleneck in cultivation?

Half God stage, it's already the limit of Heaven. As long as you break through to another stage, then you would ascend to the Higher Realm than Heavenly Realms.

The Hidden Expert couldn't find out any way to break through other than leaving the place that limit his breakthrough. So, here he was, trying to pierce the Heavens' Boundary, 1 Million Kilometers high from the surface of East Sea. In this Peak, there is only void above and none stars could be seen.

He gripped his godly Sword pointed all his Intent on the tip. The pressure could be felt from a few thousands of kilometers around him. As the time goes, even the soul in the Hell on the reverse side of the Heaven could feel the pressure.

At this time, his posture, even more powerful than when he level the Mountain Range in his fights against Ancestor Jun. It could be seen, he was hiding his full power.

The law of the world seems to be twisted at this time.

The Hidden Expert understanding of Space-Time Law and Creation-Destruction Law as he was even deeper than Great Ancestor Jun.

So, when he burst out all his Intent on the tip of the Sword, the World's Law around it got twisted. In a flash, a surge of destruction, striking toward the Heavens' Boundary. It pierced the Heaven's Boundary and made an opening gap around the piercing energy.

A big hole around a hundred meters in diameter opened within the Heavens' Boundary.

The Hidden Expert valiantly charges in the Hole. But, his face turned pale when he saw a few figures stepped in from the Hole.

That was three big figures of Divine Race whose heights more than dozen meters. Their face couldn't be seen as the light surrounds their bodies. But, as the three of them entered the Heaven, everybody in the Heaven could feel the glare from the Heaven itself including them.

The black cloud instantly surrounds the three of them, before Violet Lightning of Heaven Punishment strike them. But, the three of them only receive a light injuries and could be healed in a few moments. Heaven Punishment brings another Lighning, but it directly brings a Black Lightning that hummer them to the in seconds.

Before leaving the place, Heaven punishment dropped another lightning, it was Purple Lightning toward Hidden Expert. In the end he still needs to face this Tribulation. It could be said, this was only a warning to him, than a punishment like those Divine Race.

He finished his Tribulation with only a sliver of his life hanging around.

But, another wave of Divine Race has come at this time, around dozen of them stepped in. The only fortunate things were, they a lot weaker than the three beings before.

Old Taoist who finished tending Ancestor Jun wounds begin his move. While the Heaven Punishment strikes them once, he kills them afterward. It was a perfect combination, except these Divine Race nearly like innumerable wave, wear him down after a few days.

Fortunately, his friend Old Jun, save the day. Both of them fight against them for another ten days, before the Hidden Expert who already breakthrough to the True God stage in.

His momentum was clearly higher than the other party. With the help of Heaven Punishment that strikes them all the time. He pushes them toward the other side of the Hole and jumped in after expressing his sorry for creating this mess. Alone he stopped another wave of Divine Race, on the other side.

The Heaven's Will take this chance to restore the Hole in Heavens' Boundary. But, as it used too much energy in using Heaven Punishment, even exerting Black Lightning one of two type Divine Lightning that could be used by Heaven. It could only shrink down the Hole till one meter size before the black clouds disperse.

In the next months, a few peak expert arrived at the scene immediately shocked by the appearance of the Hole above the Peak.

These peak expert from every corner of the Heaven joined forces to seal the Hole.

On another side of Heaven.

The Barrier that separate Heaven and Demonic Realm breached for unknown reason.

Immediately, the Islands in Northwest of Northern Heaven Sea and the only prairie land in the Western Heaven turned into Hellish land.

A few exotic race there evacuates themselves toward the south of the Northern Heaven Sea.

Since then, every year, there is a war occurred around here. Like Angels against Devils, Buddhas against Asuras, or Dragons against Demons and more.

There would be a lot assistance, send from Heavenly Court and East Heaven's faction in early. But, after a hundred years, a Void Gate appeared within the vicinity of High Heaven. A few thousand dark creature above Immortal stage with dozens in Golden Immortal stage would come out from there each day for a month. So, they would need to suppress this Void Gate every century from now on.

Even so, a few dark creatures would slip out in each wave. They start to dwell in north eastern of the foot of High Heaven Mountain Range. With their fast reproduction after crossbreeding with Beast, every year they would attack the nearby inhabitant in a huge number.

As the Beast Race felt it would be detrimental to them if those, crossbreed of dark creature who looks similar to them also called beast in the future. With its evil nature, they start to call them Void Demon Beast or just Demon Beast.

Different from Demon or Beast that come from Demonic Realm as they still called them Demon regardless. These guys are new species or even new race that differ greatly from Demon.

So, we have Humans, Beasts, Demons, Devils, Asuras, Dragons, Angels, Elves, Dwarves, Sea Race, Void Demon Beasts. As a natural born Immortal is never be seen anymore and Human could achieve Immortality too, they are not categorized as a Race instead as a group of lofty beings. Buddhahood could be achieved through enlightenment and awakening, Buddhas also isn't categorized as a Race.

As the first one who drove away the Divine Race and aids in sealing the Hole protecting the balance in the world's law. Old Taoist receives the blessing from Heaven's Will, His realm directly raised to the Peak of True God stage and he could break through at any time to the next realm. While Ancestor Jun also receives bless like him, but a bit less, his realm also only raised to Early phase of True God.

Both of them given a task alongside with blessing they received. Old Taoist acts as one of the Guardian of Heaven and Balance Keeper, who would act when the world law got twisted again in the future. Ancestor Jun acts as one of the Guardian of Heaven and tasked with looking for method to restore the Heavens' Boundary not only just sealing the Hole.

Right, even with the sealing from join efforts of all peak expert in Heaven, it couldn't stop from deteriorating the world's law within Heaven. Sooner or later, Heavenly Realm would be in a mess again once more, not only just small war in the boundary or a big war like a Great Heavens' War, its more devastating than that. A Dimension scale of calamity would land in the Heavenly Realms in the future.

No one knows, except a few peak expert who reinforce the seal for a second time every thousand years.

It's like breaking a glass is easy, but restoring it needs a few thousand degrees of temperature and an expert in tempering glass to made it like a new one.

In this case also the same. The thousands degree of temperature needed is the power needed in the restoration process, an expert is someone with the ability to restore the boundary comparable to the Heaven's Will itself. But, even the Heaven's Will nearly depleted all its energy after shrinking hundred meter size of into one meter size of the Hole.

It even allowed barrier between Demonic Realm and Heaven got breached, there is also dark creatures that storm in from the void every century. Fortunately, Heaven's Will able to restore a bit of its energy after 10.000 years. It drove away dark creatures of the Void, but as the Void Gates got an influence from energy and world's law of the crack above Heaven Piercing Peak. It keeps opening every century, the difference is, it didn't pop out things from the other side, but leads anyone from this side to the Mystic Realm created by the collision of Divine Word's Law and Heaven World's Law.

Four Great Faction would gather young expert all over the world to attend the All Heaven Rank Convention every century a year before the opening of Void Gates. They would send around 100 young experts who at least in above Immortal stage and under Golden Immortal from All Heaven Rank. As for Golden Immortal expert, every smaller Faction from All Heaven list could send one, while Four Great Faction would only send three experts. The only prerequisite is their age less than 500 years old, from legal faction and not connected to Demonic Realm faction.

As the Heavens' Boundary still wounded, and Heaven's Will mostly keeping a balance of the World's Law and repress the Hole within the cracked seal. The restriction in the ascension from Lower Realm is a bit loosens.

In these a few tens of thousand years, many young blood under 200 years appears. Albeit their lower battle prowess, their experience and solid foundation are another point plus to their importance in this big faction eyes. Because, what make them different from heaven expert is the technique they used is lower level than heaven.

Unfortunately, even if the peak expert in their faction aware of the critical situation in the Heavens' Boundary. Their eyes already clouded by the profit gained from the appearance of Void Gate that lead them to Mystic Realm after a few thousand years passed. Aside from Demon Beast Tides that would come once a year and the invasion of Demonic Realm's races, there is nothing much change around.

Of course they didn't know, that everyone now only had their eyes toward Mystic Realm to gain more resource or fighting against Demon Beast and Demon Race occasionally. They never realize that every year Demon Beast quantity and quality would grow steadily, nor they would realize that Demons, Devils and Asuras started to penetrate within their ranks. As they would unknowingly start to fight against another faction and losing a city every year.

As youngest Peak Expert nowdays, Heavenly Emperor gathers another four Great Faction, Western Paradise, Holy Faction, and Eastern Creation Hall.

Eastern Creation Hall is created after the big tides of the Demon Beast toward the east in the first thousand years after mending the Hole in Heavens' Boundary. They consist; Beast Race, Elven Race and Dwarves. Eastern Creation Hall lead by Three Great Elders and 30 Hall Elders with a few dozen Elders.

The Heavenly Emperor who leads the biggest force that govern Central Heaven and Human Faction in South Heaven, asking them to gather, so they would attend it no matter what. Even the lofty Angels and the serene Buddhas come at his urgent call, as they owe him after all he is often aided in against Demons, Devils and Asuras.

In the end, Angels refuse his proposal, Buddhas went back with their sutras to the west. As for East Creation Hall, who had their HQ in corner of Creation Forest near intersection of Black Stones Mountain's foot and Beast God Forest, the center of East Heaven.

While the north of the Black Stones Mountain is one of the nests of Void Demon Beast, their mountain is like a natural fortress with strict Void disruption. So, it instead Elven Race and Beast Race who lives in the open that got more damage, especially Beast Race, they would get harassed every often.

That is why, Elven Elders, who had a similar figure with Human come to an agreement. They would send ten at most and one disciple at the least for attending the new Build Institution that year.

Of course, over the last hundred years, as all their graduates able to secure a place in All Heaven Ranks. Other three forces begin to send their disciples to Heaven Attending University of Cultivation. By now, every legal faction would send their elite and talented disciples here to cultivate.

Heavenly Emperor opens this Univeristy in hopes one of these kids would turn out to be the Chosen One that could help the Heaven out of its current predicament.

"Hope so," sigh Old Taoist who returned to the Old Hut.

Meanwhile, the student Lin Hang has already begun his training.

Of course he wouldn't waste aged medicine herbs. He uses wild herbs like before for a few more times.

After earning himself around 20 more experience points he begin to change from wild herbs to aged medicine herbs. Sure, his point raised higher than before, each time he earns 5 points.

After two more sessions he takes a break for half an hour.

By the time He finished opening Mortal Level 1 in [Alchemy Talent], the sky already turned dark.

Lin Hang spends nearly 10 hours to open Level 1. He didn't think that he would fall asleep in a cave while taking a break from Alchemy training.

At last, he finished his objective. Then, he opened the Alchemy page.

Lin Hang checked the rest of the medicine herbs. He found out the Foundation Pill main herbs are rather easy to look, and right, the main herbs are among the last set of medicinal herbs.

Like always, he carefully cleaned the Cauldron. Prepare the herbs in sequence, a few secondary herbs, then then main herbs an aged Blue Sage Herbs.

Well, that is what he knows from the description as another name in the Idle Books, its called as Blue Profound Grass, except the word of "Blue", their names really differ each others.

He didn't know if a cooking tool could be used as cauldron substitute, but for sure, it would be nearly impossible for him to make out anything from it.

While transfusing the medicinal herbs inside the cauldron, he found out recently, with his spiritual sense he could do alchemy refining easier. But, the burden on his spiritual power is greater. Nevertheless, he still had a lot power even after refines a few sets of pills, just a bit listless within his mind as spiritual sense takes a toll on his mind.

The next minutes, he throws Blue Profound Grass inside and close the lid again. It could be done in minutes as the temperature is higher inside like a rice cooker.

Um, how about trying to refine herbs with rice cooker next time? Well, forget it.

Another minutes pass and an aromatic fragrance seep out from the lid.

He waited for half minutes again and...

DING! A melodious sound ringing from inside the cauldron.

When he opened the lid, a gush of fragrance assaults his nose. There are three bluish-red pills inside the cauldron. It was real Foundation Pills, and from the look of it, the quality of these pills is quite a higher one.

Now, he becomes full fledged Junior Alchemist.
